Re: The Boys (Amazon)
I think that's what we are supposed to be asking about the Butcher character, we know that sometimes the ends does justify the means but not always, where is that line at for him?Streaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20

Re: The Boys (Amazon)
Huey-Butcher-Soldier Boy team-up against Homelander was OK if not a little anticlimactic. I'm not crazy about Soldier Boy's erratic blackout power leaks-there's enough chaos on the show. I like that Starlight has thrown down the gauntlet.Comment

Re: The Boys (Amazon)
The finale is going to be bonkers. Some haymaker twists this week and the Butcher story was really well done

Re: The Boys (Amazon)
Yeah it was. If you haven't watched the last episode of the Diabolical animated series, it goes more into the relationship between Homelander and Black Noir. Definitely recommended. The other episodes range from good to weird as ****

Re: The Boys (Amazon)
That's an understatement. Might be the best thing I've seen superhero-wise.
SpoilerI was surprised they gave reprieves to Maeve and SoldierBoy, although both are severely compromised. (But no where near Stormfront level).Comment

Yeah this is up there as one of my favorite shows ever. This season was insane and the finale was the perfect endcapComment

The Boys (Amazon)
Succession-esque in their ability to spend an entire season to get back to the point we started at. Now I’m seeing they’re going to crossover the main show and the college crossover, wondering how long they plan to have Butcher and Homelander stare at each other across a room before they actually have to pull the trigger.Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it

Re: The Boys (Amazon)
So you're saying the story is only advanced if a death resulted from a Homelander-Butcher faceoff? The official TV Drama Handbook says that at the end of three seasons it is reasonably to assume that both of the shows' main protagonist and antagonist COULD remain alive. Or are you saying you don't favor any Homelander-Butcher direct confrontation?Originally posted by D-hard-YSuccession-esque in their ability to spend an entire season to get back to the point we started at. Butcher is apparently dying from Temporary-V exposure as Frenchie declares The Boys a "democracy". Story advanced.
Starlight is a full fledged member of The Boys and has discarded her gaudy costume. Story advanced.
Maeve is powerless and blind in one eye and gave Homelander a heck of a time. Story advanced.
Kid-Homelander is set up as a Super-Pivot in season 4 and has a evil twinkle in his eye when his daddy heat-visions a protester's head into mush. This is the most aggressive public display of corrupt power that Homelander has used and even he is surprised by his fans' blood-thirsty reaction. Story advanced.
Two great turns in this episode were when SoldierBoy's moral high-ground appeared to trump Homelander's (not a super-high bar) but the latter went to the defense of his son. Then revenge-thirsty Maeve abandoned her pitched battle to act like a true hero.
Great episode.Comment

Besides that trigger had already been pulled in "Herogasm".Originally posted by DHYSuccession-esque in their ability to spend an entire season to get back to the point we started at.
