I'm expecting the church brainwashing Deep will play a bigger part at some point.

All caught up now. Episode 3 certainly moves some things along.

The beginning of the apartment complex scene in the middle of the chase felt really disjointed. Was there dialogue they removed? Felt like she was about to say something to the family before well you know.

And the Deep? I'm staring at a giant dead fish, again, and asking the screen how the **** this dude got in.

Well, he emulates Namor and Aquaman and fulfills that representing a basic Earth element side of things. I assume that not even Homelander can stay underwater all that long. He's gotta have some kind of kryptonite other than aluminum foil or whatever it is.

                Spoiler

I get the stand-in he's representing and honestly think his "power" is pretty damn impressive, but the dude is an imbecile. So if getting in was power alone then that makes sense. I just don't imagine this guy passing any kind of entrance test or interview for something that is supposed to be prestigious.

Then again it is a lot about product development and marketing.

Anyway, I want to see Stormfront and Homelander go at, but they'll probably just team up now that they are on the same page with supes in the military.

What is the rank/order of super-powers? Homelander seems to be an alpha, but is he the pinnacle? At this point in the show the only character that doesn't seem to be treated ambiguously with regard to their power level is Homelander (and I guess now Stormfront?). Do the others basically have one power? Like A-Train. Can he only do superspeed?

Also, the roof scene with Homelander and the kid was amazing.

MEGA SPOILER (for the entire series from the comics) which I only know because I went reading stuff on reddit after season 1:

Yeah mega spoiler undersells that immensely. I've read the comics so I knew what you were getting at but that's one of the biggest reveals. I feel like you have the potential to spoil that for him because hes asking about the power level of various heroes in the universe and you reply with that which makes it appear you're answering his question which you are but you are doing so by revealing a huge plot point.

Yeah. I assumed that was color for season 1, not one of the biggest reveals of the entire series.

One of, they revealed that pretty late in the comics. Show is pretty different so could be an earlier thing here I suppose.

I thought the mega in all caps would show that it was a bigger than normal spoiler, and figured saying it was something I read after season 1 would give away that it hasn’t happened yet, but yeah, it’s big. Doesn’t seem like the show is going to go in that direction all the way but the plot also isn’t really the selling point to me so it probably is a bigger deal to others.

Only saw the 1st few words of it, but was plenty. I intend to read the books though, before this season is over so not mad or anything, my fault.
