Can't wait for What If

9 episodes this season which takes us into October, and 9 for season 2 next year.

Given the multiple seasons, I wonder what each episode will be about. Don't think they'd cover every major movie moment in season 1.

Too bad on the Legends recap for Peggy they ignored her Agents of Shield flashbacks. But given (character appearance spoiler)

in What If, I'm hoping they can finally declare Agents of Shield as canon, even if it's part of the multiverse, I'll take it, even though the entire series (minus the last 2 or 3 seasons) could really be considered part of the same universe as the film's.

Yeah, think the focus of the series will touch on a bunch of movies but actually be around gathering a set of heroes together to fight a multiversal threat. A Kang or Ultron or something, enabled by the events at the end of the Loki series.

I wasn't sure what I expected but I liked the first episode. Agreed on the animation style. It reminds me of into the spider-verse

Great first episode of What If...? I enjoyed it from start to finish. As has been mentioned already the animation was really well done. Think this show is going to have some good stories. Wonder if they try to tie anything in with how Loki ended. Can't wait for more.

Oh it will.

That's the thing I think most still haven't realized, that this is all canon. Some of these new characters will appear in non-animated MCU movies or features.

That's exactly what I'm hoping for. It's so funny how I think most just saw this series as a one off fun idea type thing. But then after Loki it's like holy **** this will all connect. Kevin Feige is a genius.

I finally saw the movie.

It's definitely not for 3-5 year olds. I'd say probably 10 and up. Not to spoil things too much, the site I linked does mention most things, but there are "intense/scary(for a kid)" scenes, and violence as well.

I haven't seen Jungle Cruise yet, but I've heard people compare it to POTC, just with a different setting.
