Just saw Evil Dead Rise, and I thought it was great.

Lily Sullivan looks just like Jane Levy. I thought it was her the entire time.

I enjoyed most of the movie (minus a few of the jump scares), but the ending soured me to the movie overall. If everything after is going to be derivative of the first 2 films, then this should definitely be the end of the series (I hope).

The Lodge is one of the most disturbing movies I have seen in a while. Just watched it again and it was even more disturbing the second time around.

Weird as well for me, as a huge Elvis fan, to think about it being Elvis' granddaughter is the star of it, heh.

I'm sorry,but this is a movie that has/had absolutely NO reason to be done again, also I had no idea that a 3 movie trilogy is set to be released much in the same way Halloween was, in which DGG did a horrible job with those movies (imo)...especially Ends.

Horror films are my absolute favorite genre, and it really bothers me to see these "reboots" or whatever..I mean seriously? taking what's probably 2 of the most iconic horror classics in The Exorcist and Halloween and "rebooting" them?

Off the top of my head, the top 5 horror movies that absolutely did NOT need any remakes or reboots...of course imo...lol

1-The Omen
2-The Exorcist
3-Nightmare on Elm Street
4-Friday the 13th
5-Halloween

Every single one of these are absolute classics and should NOT have been touched (imo)

You think that the studio behind this "reboot/requel" would've learned their lesson 15 years ago (with the 'original' prequels - which there are two of).
