    Re: Big Brother 26

Caught up to current finally. Angela is definitely crazy or playing that roll. Tucker is able to do this because he knows he can win 1 out of 3 comps. After it gets to 5, it's 1 out of 2, so harder. Will have to see if he can last that long.

Other than that, not much going on and no one really having a great game yet.

Kimo and T'Kor about to get BB flagged for their pentagon comments. Production even put that comment in subtitles....

Good news is that there's nobody to hate (even Angela, I don't hate her but I obviously think she's 100% crazy. That "CRAZY EYES" bit is still both so funny and "so....that happened")

Bad news is that nobody stands out a huge amount either. Tucker probably stands out the most, and that's more for his unpredictability.

But it's before the jury so that's when the season picks up. For all the twists BB wants to implement, they really need to find a way to make the first half of the game more exciting from a gameplay standpoint without using cheap gimmicks that we know will be abandoned eventually. I still think there needs to be some rule like if you survive eviction night you can't be nominated again the next week. Would add an interesting element to the game. And don't announce the vote counts. People absolutely will be more willing to vote against the house if that opposition number won't get exposed.

They had the chance to make this season epic. AI HOH every week. Then the deep fakes could be useful because you would have no clue what was real or not.

If they didn't want to offer deep fakes every week, make it winnable by doing something in the HOH comp. HOHs would need to be individual and not announce the winners though.

A whole season of mystery HOHs would be fun. They'd have to alter challenges since some has everyone watching and seeing who wins it (ones like trivia, or ones where people take turns you can do it for since winners can be hidden from the rest), though we know many of the reigns probably has someone blabbing to half the house about the fact that they have it anyways.

The deepfake part is creepy. CBS proving how easy it is for a company to just deepfake a regular person. You really do sign over your full likeness to these shows just to be on it. They can deepfake you or just use your photos in a future season in any altered way they want. The Angela deepfake for instance, that was obviously taken from her cast photos (I'm sure they probably just scanned everyone).

That's what'll make this AI Instigator twist weird too. Does the person who wins it get a chance to deepfake every remaining HG to say one comment they want, or do they just choose one person to target? Will the house even buy any of it or just think it's a weird/fun AI bit going on knowing that everyone obviously didn't actually say that.

the funny thing was with everyone knowing Quinn was the deep fake, Angela kept up the "that's not me" thing she was supposed to say lol

like it was originally meant to be this crazy thing, but Quinn admitted it was him, so everyone knew way ahead of time, but she said it anyway lol

Even Julie pointed out Quinn has to come in and vote just for show, even though everyone knows its him. That did not go the way CBS wanted

CBS/BB should know by now that nobody keeps secrets in that house, and things are so predictable that people aren't surprised. What was the last major power that someone actually kept a secret from every last person? Sure, people might reveal 80% of the info but they still reveal it.

It's like when Julie announces a double eviction and most of the HGs are like "Wow....I mean we've been speculating that all week, but wow...." because everyone knows they do it around certain times each season.

Quinn though was stupid for revealing the power. Makensey was forced to in a way since if she kept it a secret, everyone would know she lied to them when she revealed she had has it once playing it. Quinn's power allowed him to stay secret the entire time so he could've played it and nobody would've known it was him.

Can anyone beat Tucker in anything? He's so annoying, and the more he wins the more annoying he gets. Why is this so easy for him?

This dude needs to be fast tracked to the Challenge, see if he can beat the Challenge beasts because this is ridiculous

I don't know if it says more about how good he is at challenges or if others just suck that much at challenges, or a bit of both.

The hide and go veto comp was a bit of luck more than anything but still it's crazy how he won that too. I don't know what the exact rules are for that comp, but if that were me I would've hidden the veto under the rug and table in their living room where all those couches are. You'd literally need to move furniture to even check that spot.

And Brooklyn in that challenge is the definition of chaotic evil. First she wants to be like "little red Robin hood", then challenges her inner "Brent" , then just decides to destroy the entire house and everyone's clothes. Brett in BB20 is still my fave comp DRs in BB history. That whole comp was so funny and it actually paid off for him too.

                    Re: Big Brother 26

Leah has flown so under the radar that she has to have a DR that has her saying "I exist!"

I wonder what's been the reason for her being so invisible. She has funny DRs so even if her game is nonexistent she could've at least had DRs for stuff but she'd gotten nothing all season. Producers spent more time focusing on her "chubby chaser" than actual game content.

I'm thinking she was definitely planted to keep big alliances from forming and making the game boring. At this point, she has blown up every alliance.

The casting was terrible this season. Unless production just hasn't shown it, there doesn't appear to be any smart players. They all seem like pawns except for the few athletic people. I don't think it's because people are sitting back either.

This year feels like a "safe" cast. Not that last season was filled with anything bad (that I remember/know of), but this season doesn't have anyone that I'm like "They might be entertaining on tv at times but they're definitely not a good person in real life."

Everyone feels neutral in a way, which is good and bad. Outside of Angela they do all feel like just regular people which is good because BB has been filled with influencers, models and so on way too often.

I still do like the season and know it will pick up gameplay wise, but everything just feels more like a stale game more than stale cast.

Rubina for instance got upset because she had to vote with the house a few weeks ago. What could this game be like if vote counts weren't revealed? People more willing to flip (or just vote who they want) if a failed vote doesn't expose their game?

And this most recent veto comp. While a BB classic, it's also the same thing every season.

1st eliminated gets the veto that they'll hold for 4 minutes
2nd eliminated gets a punishment they trade for the veto
                          3rd eliminated gets a trip
                          4th eliminated gets a punishment
                          5th eliminated gets money
Winner gets a punishment they're trading for the veto or a prize

Everyone knows the order. Why not mix it up for once? No veto reveal until the 4th or 5th elimination occurs so you cause some drama in the first few swaps. Maybe even do it one season where nobody (except maybe the comp winner) knows what's in any envelope. Maybe even let the comp winner have the power to force a swap or two that doesn't involve themselves.

I don't think he threw it, he had no reason to.

You could see him during the challenge and his pieces were facing the other way.

Although, would the pieces even fit if it's reversed?

Though Julie joked that she asked everyone if they understood the rules, but it reality she has no usefulness. During the break is when producers explain the full challenge to the houseguests. Julie is only there for show.

Quinn is so bad at the game but everyone thinks he is great.

The others are also bad and would have been dumped if there was anyone good. Joseph maybe playing the best game but he's not getting much air time.
