That recap episode had some ok moments, but that song they had (I think in Janky world) was easily the best part.

Angela's Jennifer Coolidge impression was great, Brooklyn doing the conspiracy thing was ok, other than that, meh, filler episode gonna fill
edit: replaying the Tucker/Cedric confrontation and showing Cedric was clearly right, and never lost his cool, I liked that being brought back upLast edited by l3ulvl; 10-13-2024, 01:09 AM.Wolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

Re: Big Brother 26
Never realized Makensy is only 22. Cam is 23 and Chelsie 27. Now I really believe despite what she said, Makensy is definitely a construction manager because of her family. Looking back at the premiere, Chelsie probably works for her church? We'll see if the "who needs it more" question does come in to play like I mentioned before, because if someone is really tied between voting for those two, Chelsie definitely has the edge.
As much as this season won't stand out for being a top level season, it did have a strong cast too but probably was one of the better ones of the modern era.Angela's Jennifer Coolidge impression was great, Brooklyn doing the conspiracy thing was ok, other than that, meh, filler episode gonna fill

Seeing the likes of Tucker, Brooklyn, Cedric all leave pre jury were all big moves.
I always hate the recap episodes. You have a whole hour where you could add more to the show. Do the jury roundtable and hoh comp part 1 on this episode which frees up the finale to have a proper q&a period between the jury and F2 instead of the pre written generic questions that could apply to any of the possible f2 scenarios like "tell me why you deserve to win over the person sitting next to you" and then gives us more time for a proper reunion at the end too.Last edited by Majingir; 10-13-2024, 09:38 AM.Comment

Re: Big Brother 26
What a crazy final hoh comp.
Makensy and Chelsie both felt just happy to be there, almost like both knew that was the f2 no matter who won? But they completely guessed every answer and were right all the time until Chelsie switched last second at the end and it cost her the comp.
Makensy absolutely should've taken Cam, that was the easiest path to win the game.
Julie saving Cam yet again this week, looking out for both him and his dawgs at the crib.
This is the tightest F2 I've seen in ages, I literally couldn't tell you who I would've picked to win between those two or given you an estimated vote count.
Based on jury questions, I figured Makensy was done. She was asked her biggest move that only benefitted her and not Chelsie, she answers the Leah eviction. Next question...Chelsie gets asked her best persuasive moves...she says persuading Makensy to get rid of Leah. She knew Chelsie had her beat.
Julie bringing it all night. Quinn locks in his vote by saying he's voting for the most diabolical player of the season and Julie's like "You know you can't vote for yourself."
Kimos explanation for his vote is simply "I'm voting for one of you"
This might be the most all over the place reunion show in recent BB history (in a good way).
Really thought the vote would've been closer, it deserved to be a close vote, the final vote count doesn't reflect both their games and how close it was, but she won the game with the speeches. But at the same time, this might be the most lopsided moment in BB history. Makensy would've won 7-0 vs Cam and chose to face Chelsie and lost 7-0 to her, then says she didn't come here for the money...she deserved to lose.Last edited by Majingir; 10-13-2024, 11:06 PM.Comment

Re: Big Brother 26
The ending just shows why I say this was one of the stupidest cast ever. The season wasn't bad overall but was filled with bad gameplay. Every single person made multiple bad moves but they were able to recover because no one was smart enough to take control. In a regular season, these people get sent home quickly.
I don't know how you pick the only person in the game who can beat you.
Unless they didn't show it, it did seem like there was less strategy this season and people were just happy to be there. There were clearly different sides to the house but little strategy to try and flip things. I know Angela was used to change who was eliminated but it wasn't really flipping anything.

Probably also depends on how many were fans vs recruits. The ending just shows why I say this was one of the stupidest cast ever. The season wasn't bad overall but was filled with bad gameplay. Makensy was obviously a recruit (middle age BB casters and recruiting Texas A&M people, don't know why that's a match).
Cam probably was too (he said nobody he knows watches BB, but also said one of his faves was Jared last season.....)
Someone like Quinn obviously was a big fan. Angela was a big fan too but idk if she applied or was recruited (she's been on other cbs game shows before). Kenny applied for years to be on, but it's like he said, his life when he first applied and his life today are so different, so it's hard to want to play the game now the way you wanted to when you first got inspired to apply.
Chelsie said she's a super fan and watched since she was 13. Crazy thing, that only means she's watched since BB 12 or 13 (probably why people in the house thought there's never been an all female F3). I wonder for BB and Survivor how that impacts things. While people can binge past seasons, even being a 10 year long fan still means you probably haven't seen a majority of the shows history.
I liked the cast and am happy with who won, but definitely feel like the gameplay and strategy lacked.Comment

It's not just that she picked Chelsie, but she didn't incorporate it in her speech as to why she should win, she got demolished by Chelsie and rightfully so. It was so one sided I almost started feeling bad for her lol
