Well played by Kyle and Kamilla. Shauhin looked like he was the one voted off he was so distraught. Love how the game humbles everyone.

I was surprised that worked, they seemed to be overacting, I was thinking "they're gonna botch this"

        Re: Survivor 48

The "California Girls" got too confident.

They just saw it simply as 3v2.

They never accounted for an idol or sitd play.

And Thomas cost himself in two ways. He lied to his own alliance about having an advantage, and he didn't play the advantage either (because he'd be discovered for the lie).

Thomas simply playing his advantage would've saved everything.

It'd be 2 on Kamille and 2 on Kyle and now only 1 vote coming from the other side so even an idol play just means the other person goes home. Not that they would've known about the extra vote, but the steal a vote + 2-2 split also would've negated the extra vote without them even knowing there was an extra vote advantage.

But Kamille/Kyle were thinking steps ahead. If they got the idol play wrong and the guys just did a 2-1 split (with the 1 vote being on the person who played the idol), their 3 votes with the extra vote still would've been enough to get the majority.

They finally got Jeff to break.

Obviously you knew it was coming since they kept foreshadowing Eva talking about no longer having Joe around who can help her, then you see her struggle in the challenge and the camera shots kept showing Joe forced to watch on but not allowed to intervene.

Eventually she manages to finish the challenge and breaks down and Jeff tells Joe he's allowed to go over and he's able to help her out.

Of course they just exposed how close they are,but that was obviously a non game moment that even got Jeff all emotional and a loss for words.

But also, is that a new rule? You're not allowed to cross tribe lines (literally) even after the challenge is done?

Is that to prevent someone from giving someone else an idol if their tribe loses? Or did they put their foot down after what happened last year and make it a rule where no part of the challenge are you allowed steering off your lane.

            that whole thing felt staged

maybe I'm just too skeptical because everything is staged now, but cmon

and then Star gives her advantage to Eva for no reason? Idunno man

edit: also, Bianca, you had one job! don't tell anyone you don't have a vote! one job! Pitting the sides against each other was great, STOP THERE!

That moment had me choked up. Had to leave the room. Admitted to my wife next day I was tearing up too, she didn’t believe me. Whew. Dodged a bullet there. [emoji23]

I have a bad habit of making it thru 75% of an episode then zonking out before tribal, lol. Sounds like it was relatively easy money on this one.

Sai’s time seems limited, but here’s where she can make her case if she somehow continues to get thru tribal after tribal being a target but not THE target. She’s survived and is now in a position where she’s the first name thrown out there but not the last or one that is settled on. Kind of get lost in the mix while being clearly targeted at the same time.

We are merged and ready to get in to the nitty gritty.

Dang, thought we were finally getting rid of Sai. I wish someone would have called her out for celebrating at the challenge.

I wouldn't say it was easy (no pun intended).

Sai being petty almost got her voted out!

She was 1 vote away from the vote being a tie, and since she can't vote in the tie, technically she'd be safe if the numbers stayed the same, but others easily could switch their vote in a tiebreaker, which likely could happen if people who voted Charity see the easy chance to get rid of Sai.

Shauhin singing the intense Survivor challenge music and then they synced his singing with the actual music.

One benefit of 90 minute episodes, they can show the mid challenge banter with the players and the random antics of the players eliminated.

David and Joe showing off with one hand. Demolishing the all time record, and they could've gone longer, Joe threw in the towel instead of going for it because why bother
