Everytime they have a musical number it goes on way too long and is just boring. They really need to stop doing those.

yep. same with South Park and the Simpsons. I really dont see why cartoons feel the need to put on musicals every once in a while.

That was seriously one of the worst episodes of Family Guy I've ever seen.

The only funny bits were the Stewie/Brian stuff (and that wasnt even that funny) and the Hyundai commercial LOL.

Yeah, for once I saw quite a bit that I was not pleased with. There is now way too much nudity in this show.

However, it did not stop me from laughing. However, South Park, The Simpsons, and American Dad do.




At least there weren't that many flashbacks this time. This is what you guys get instead of flashbacks.

Me too. IMO they were never that bad, and that's what I had kept saying. They are actually very funny. I don't care how much they use it as a crutch! Humor is humor, no matter what it is that makes you laugh.

Yeah I would take flashbacks over musicals any day of the week. I think this was the first episode of family guy that I have ever seen (seen all episodes except 1 or 2 from this year) where the main plot seriously blew...totally. I've seen some episodes where the humor wasn't strong but the plot, just wow...

Well then you're saying that writers in comedy are so bad these days they have to resort to flashbacks to keep an episode running smoothly? That's a pretty bad indictment of the writers' abilities IMO. At least the Simpsons episode last night was funny and the story actually had legs to last the entire show without dragging it down.

The only bit that was weak was the whole Bart threatening to throw Homer off the cliff segment. Other then that it was a very solid episode and I find that the Simpsons, while it may never go back to previous heights has been pretty entertaining lately.

If the FG writers can't do stories then why don't they just make it a damn sketch cartoon then.
