You know what I think that problem is(not that anyone asked)?

I think some of you guys are growing up...it's scary. I think its more that your tastes in comedy have changed more than the show itself has.

    But w/e, I still laugh.

Futurama has brilliantly written scripts; you'd have to watch "The Devil's Hands are Idle Playthings" and "Roswell That Ends Well" multiple times to pull everything out of the episode, like most of the eps...

Family Guy goes for the non-stop gutbusting laughs, but lately, it hasn't gotten them.

I'm going to guess you're disagreeing with the AD point, which I think I do too. Some of the characters are trash (Steve's band of friends is very weak) but it has had some good stories.

:::By the way, in no way am I trying to say you're wrong, or put you down, I'm trying to see what your viewpoint is.:::
I disagree with him saying that futurama only has a few laughs. It has a great story and it's pretty funny if you know the series and the characters.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

That could be it. I used to be a huge family guy fan but now for some reason I have no interest in it at all. I'll try to get an old dvd and see if it is me that changed or the show. Of course it could be a combination of both.

Ah! Sorry for being incorrect determining your viewpoint, and you're right, Futurama has a lot of laughs in the show. It doesn't try as hard as FG and they seem to come in the context of the script. I miss Futurama, but I'm sure it'll get bastardized if it comes back, just like FG.

I should've made my point clearer but I only read the futurama part. Oh yeah, futurama is coming back but in the form of straight to dvd movies. There's supposed to be four. I hope they haven't lost a step.

I think the show has changed more than my comedic tastes have. I may not think the show (from any season) is the GOAT, but I can still watch seasons 1-3 and laugh at the very same jokes over and over again.

Regarding comedic tastes changing. It hasn't really changed for me. I still laugh at cartoon violence like the whole Brian/Stewie thing. I may not laugh out loud at a lot of jokes but I appreciate the funniness of said jokes. I'm just not really liking this season of FG.

I still watch the previous seasons and enjoy the show immensely.

Haha, not only was a cracking up when he sits on Meg's friend naked, but then the Lou Gehrig part... wow...
