Re: Xbox 360 Buying Plans
Same here.... I usually don't bother turning on my PS2 or the computer (for MVP Baseball) until everyone is asleep... If my 1 year old is still up, he'll usually lay on the floor next to me drinking milk until he falls asleep.
I've never owned more than 1 console at a time, so part of me is intrigued by getting both the PS3 and the 360. But I think I'll probably wind up with whichever one has the deeper sports library, since all I play are sports games.Comment

Re: Xbox 360 Buying Plans
I might be the only one saying this, but I plan on waiting for the PS3. I own both systems now and I only play one. I haven't touched my PS2 in months. I'm really interested in the Blue-Ray (or whatever name they come up with) option that the PS3 will have. I don't play online, so Live is not an option for me.
I have a 2 1/2 year old also, so my gaming time is limited.
(I know I say I'll get one system, but with all these threads, I'm getting tempted more everyday!)Comment

Re: Xbox 360 Buying Plans
As of now I am getting the xbox360 on launch day. Its still wait and see for me about the PS3 and a definite no for the revolution. With most every game I really like being on the xbox now, I don't see the need to have two consoles. But I don't know anything about the PS3 yet so there maybe something that blows us all away.Comment

Re: Xbox 360 Buying Plans
Originally posted by SullyWell, being married with 2 young ones, I don't find time to game until after everyone is in bed...which is usually after 9pm. I may be on in the afternoon, but rarely is it for more than a half hour. Gaming is a hobby that I love, but in no way does it interfere with my family life. I'll find the time to play both, just not as much as I would like to. I haven't touched my PS2 or GC in months. I just won't sell them because there's probably a release on the horizon that intrigues me.
As for all the money that I spend on games...my wife and I are fortunate enough to make enough money to live comfortably. She recognizes that gaming is my hobby, just like I recognize that shopping is her's.
I still don't know which one.Comment

Re: Xbox 360 Buying Plans
Originally posted by seanmacThat's a good point and it begs the question- for those people saying they are going to get both consoles, why? What specific games are going to be on PS3 and not on Xbox 360 that make plunking down an extra $300+ absolutely necessary? Or visa-versa?Comment

Re: Xbox 360 Buying Plans
Xbox 360 because I'm tired of wasting money on Sony products(HDD) and they will both be pretty much the same. Xbox will have better online service probably.Comment

Re: Xbox 360 Buying Plans
Tho I voted both I think E3 will decide if I really want a PS3 as I already preordered an X-box 360...btw I did'nt realize so many of the OS community has kids (add me to the bunch with a 4 year old Son) I really thought I was in the minority of late night gamers with kids.Comment
