Pick them up by pressing B if they're pickupable.
This review is pretty much how I feel though I didn't write it and would give it a slightly higher score and don't like the music: http://www.epicentergames.com/?q=node/888
Triple booking Adam's chainsaws solves things quite nicely. Convicts went down in one hit each, guess Carlito will be next.Last edited by goh; 08-17-2006, 02:35 AM.Comment

Re: Dead Rising Hands-On (Xbox 360)
I beat the "72hr" mode last night unlocking "Overtime" mode. The ending isn't ground breaking, but it lays the groundwork for "Overtime" mode. OT mode I think is a challenge even though there aren't many zombies around, you have another group to contend with. This group can be tough if your not leveled up or have enough OJ w/you.
There is a surprise or two at the end of the game that was very interesting, but not fully explained.
Time to beat "OT" mode and unlock "Infinity" mode.
Capcom, I think you have a great new franchise on your hands here that could only be improved further if they decide to continue with this. We know it's Capcom, so they will whore out this franchise. LOL!
Capcom, can the next game have Frank go into a Day of the Dead or Land of the Dead scenario?Comment

Originally posted by USF11Yeah I finished the game over last weekend, and I am very happy with this new title.
I'm going to work through "OT" and then "Infinity" afterwards. Once I'm done with those I'm starting all over again with the intent to just kill zombies + save the survivors + kill the psychopaths that I never had a chance to take out.
Usually once I beat a game, I never go through it a second time. There is just something about this game that makes you want to keep on playing and not put down the controller.Comment

Originally posted by candyman56I love this game. I think that Dead Rising, NCAA07, GUN, and Quake IV are 4 games that have made me really happy that I own a 360. Granted GUN & QIV could be considered duds to others, but I enjoyed those games.

I originally thought it would be like 72 hour mode only untimed. Boy was I wrong."Good music transcends all physical limits, it's more then something you hear, it's something that you feel, when the author, experience, and passion is real" - Murs (And this is for)Comment

Originally posted by USF11Infinity Mode was a huge dissapointment. There is no save points, no one to save, you cant level up, and your health constantly depletes itself.

Re: Dead Rising Hands-On (Xbox 360)
Triple booking = 3x the books.
Adam's chainsaw = Edged,Hardware and Entertianment. 27x the use.
Proving yet again this game wasn't properly tested when doing the Jo mission there's only 1 person in there instead of the 4 there was supposed to be.Comment

The books are meant for weapons and items to last longer.
With Jo, the reason there might be 1 person left is because your slow @ss didn't get to her in time. When I fought her twice, first time there were 4 girls. The second time there were 2. Do you realize that the longer it takes getting to save a survivor that they could be dead?
I laugh cause your trying to expose things as flaws in the game even though you forget that survivors will die. The zombies and psycopaths are mostly real-time events taking everything out in their path.
Like the best one, was the digital watch complaint. If you can't read the hands on watch man, I don't know what to tell you.Last edited by CaptainZombie; 08-17-2006, 06:18 PM.Comment

Originally posted by gohI wasn't complaining about the books I was just answering a question.
I was doing a story case when I got that Jo mission and went to it soon as I could so they shouldn't be dead.
Yes, they could be dead by the time your there. When you take a call from Otis, you never know what can occur with the AI and who they kill off and how fast.Comment

Re: Dead Rising Hands-On (Xbox 360)
Not that it matters since the survivor AI...well let's just say it shouldn't be called AI,even with the book from the movie theatre mission. It was in fact extremely easy to compelte but only managed to save 1/5 survivors.
Can't see a damn thing in 7-2,guess I'll have to try when it's dark outside.Comment
