Our you could always get the big machine gun off the back of the convicts car.
WOW! Level 35. I was in a store with the Katana's right next to the supermarket where all the construction is being done to the mall.

I can't kill those convicts no matter what I try, but that would be awesome to have that Chain Gun.

Once I leave the security office, I'll head to grab the SMG first. If I continue to run out of time, I think that I'll start all over again and do what you did USF, rescue survivors for a bit to increase my stats + continue to get my PP count up by going on a zombie killing spree/taking photos.

Even though Capcom has forced that crappy save system on us, one thing I do like about this game is that technically they have given us options as to how we want to play the game w/ restrictions.

    USF, Thanks for the info

man, this thread has me wanting to play now...

will also be fun to run for another runthrough to let the cases die out, and just do scoops...

I've got to learn more about books, i've read that you can make weapons last longer and stuff with the right books, pretty cool

Anyone have any good tips on taking out the dude in the hardware store?

For those who are having a tough time with the convicts, here is how I have beaten them (3 times now since they respawn)...

First, get their attention by firing some bullets at them from some distance.

Second, go towards a section of the park with a lot of trees, the driver will continue to get stuck ramming into them.

Third, (make sure you have the SMG and I recomend a couple of health drinks) take out the gunner first, it only takes a few accurate shots but you have to shoot him before he shoots you (this is where the aiming system pisses people off)

Fourth, take out the driver and the passanger (who will become the driver if you kill the driver first). You can take him out with the SMG if you still have bullets or you can grab the big *** machine gun off the back and kill them.

From there you can jump into the car and run over zombies or you can haul the gun around with you for use against your next boss (I used it against Carlito the second time).

Weapons respawn when you run out of ammo.

The most important stat boost to get was speed +2, once you get that I suggest starting over.

-There is a short cut in the girls bathroom(By your base)in the ceiling above the sink which takes you to the other side of the map.

-Items respawn so you can always haven an Uzi, and Katana. I usually carry orange juice with me at all times.

-When your transporting survivors give them a gun. They seem to have infinite ammo.

-Also after you kill a mini boss his weapon will always respawn there. These weapons last longer then regular weapons.

When do you fight Adam the Clown? The reason I ask is because im at case 4-2 and it seems like everyone has already fought him. Is he like the convicts that just appear when you go somewhere?

Gonna give this one a rent fellas. Seems like most people have a love hate relationship with the game. It does a lot of things right and a lot of things wrong.
How I wish, how I wish you were here. We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl year after year. Running over the same old ground. What have we found? The same old fears. Wish you were here.

Instead of carrying around so much orange juice mix two of them together (it creates nectar) it fills up more of your health meter.

I think that USF mentioned earlier that someone at Gamefaqs had said if you blow up the jeep with the propane tank that it won't respawn.

I fought him during the second Case series.

I also picked up the strategy guide during lunch, I skimmed through it and there's tons of info that may be helpful.
