its cuz the songs i have on my custom soundtrack rock so i dont have any need to skip through them.

Hell yeah. I was flying down this one long strip straightaway. System/TV blasting! So much going on sometimes I even have to turn down the radio/soundtrack.

I'm sick of alot of songs on my custom soundtrack, so i guess that's why I'm pissed off.

I burn alot of my music too and I don't have the cds that my xbox will read at the moment. this semi sucks

Have you test out the radio stations yet? One of the best area of the game IMO.

I had the game for my PS2 before it broke around when I was done with about 1/4 done with the game. Probably less, so I am familiar with the radio stations.

I don't even have an Xbox, but if I were you guys, I wouldn't use the custom soundtrack features.

The radio stations really suck you into the 1990s atmosphere. You actually feel like you're living in the San Andreas world. I think you're really missing out by not listening to the default radio stations.

Yeah Dook. I just got it and played it for 2 hours and didn't even realize 2 hours had passed.

It's like watching a movie. Very lifelike.

Man I got so lost it's not even funny. The total map area is freakishly HUGE. Does anyone know how to get back home? After finishing up with Big Smoke I got lost and all the bridges back to CJ's home are shut.

Also, any suggestions on where to get food or get cleaned up? I stopped at one bodega and only got snacks and a drinks. But I'm sure there are other places.

Just hit the Start button, go to map and then put cursor over your "home" and hit the B button. that puts an icon on your hud map so you can find it easier. you can do this for any location on map.

I didnt read a whole lot about this when it came out on the PS2 because I know I was going to get it for Xbox, but one question.

I thought the theme was earily 90's? Yet I have heard late 90's and even some 2000's songs. ON the radio user custom or whatever I think it has songs I dont even have downloaded playing ...unless I forgot about having them on my xbox

User custom is all downloaded music you have on HD. You probably forgot

This game is a blast to play. Fans of RPG's should definitely pick this one up.

I just picked it up for Xbox and I'm a little disappointed in the control scheme.

I liked the fact that in the 2 previous Xbox GTAs that the firing while in a vehicle was mapped to directing the right stick and clicking it in.

In SA, they changed it back to a face button to shoot, and the black and white buttons to look to the sides. There is no way that I can simultaneously press the white button and the B button, plus drive without crashing into anything. It' s just not possible. I can press the black button and the B button simultaneously though - it just needs getting used to.

Maybe the for the PC version it can be customized for the best.
