Was just playing and drove up to the Rodeo (Ro-day-oh) area and car jacked this dude in a long stretched out ride.

Turns out he was a Pimp.

Hit the R3 like when you jack a Taxicab and I went on a Pimp mission.

Couldn't get the girl to her john in enough time though.

I can't get past this mission where you have to dance. I always seem to be a couple hundred points off from beating it.

For those who bought the game for Xbox: Has anyone else had terrible draw-in and long load times? The draw-in effect is awful at times, especially when driving at high speeds. For example, I was on the mission "Los Sepulcros" where you have to take Sweet and 2 homies to the cemetery to ambush some Ballas. I went down onto the interstate to get there faster, but I entered on the wrong side, so I was trying to cut across to the right side. I was doing about the top speed you can do, and before I could even touch the brakes, a median pops out of no where in the middle of the road, my car flips, and the gang dies in the explosion. Another time, I was on the interstate, on an overpass. Usually theres scenery around you to see from the overpass, but there was nothing literally nothing around me. Just blue. The cars in front of me were not even on the road, but floating two feet above it. And in the case of load times, I know its a huge game, but my friends have it also, and moving from inside CJ's house to Ganton takes about 5 seconds, for me, its almost a minute. Booting up the game takes almost 2 minutes whereas for my friends its only about 20 seconds. Has anyone else had problems like this? I know San Andreas is a huge game, so theres definitely going to be draw-in, but what Ive seen is ridiculous. Im not sure whether the problem is with my Xbox or with the disc itself, although the disc looks likes its in pretty good shape. By the way, my Xbox is a launch system with a Thompson drive, Ive had some problems periodically with dirty disc errors and not wanting to read games that are a little scratched. Whenever I play GTA, it makes the noise that the system makes when I put in a disc, but constantly throughout the game. Any thoughts?

I believe your respect level has to be at a certain point.When you are able to recruit there will be a prompt in the upper left hand corner of the screen.All you do is go up to your dudes and "target" them with the right trigger and push up on the d-pad.(make sure you don't have a weapon in hand though)

Sorry bro, that's a problem with your XBOX. I've only had a bad draw in problem like that once. I turned my XBOX off and started it up again and it was fine. I also have a launch system and have had a few DDEs. Haven't had one in a couple days though.

Same here. There'll be occassions when the draw lags, but it rarely happens. Overall, the landscapes are fantastic on the XBOX.

Have the PS2 version and played that for weeks and now tried the XBox version for 2 days and yeah overall the Xbox version looks better but the jagged, moving lines are terrible. That aspect alone has stopped me playing the game. Ugly, annoying and painful on the eyes. PS2 version doesn't have that crap. And the controls, more responsive and smooth on Xbox, but the layout is strange and somewhat difficult.

A bit of a 'meh' lazy conversion if you ask me.

So sounds like Im the only one running into major graphics problems. I think Im going to have to send in my Xbox, I need the problem fixed before NCAA comes out.
