Go to anywhere on Groove Street target anyone wearing green (make sure you don't have a weapon while targetting) and press UP on the d-pad. They'll follow you everywhere you go...it's kick *** when doing drive-bys.

Yeah, its pretty sweet for the early missions, but after you get dropped off in the middle of nowhere you can't roll with a gang or do turf wars; oh well.

Over 50% fat?

Well that's going to be a problem for me b/c I've been sending CJ to the gym every day and he's at maximum Buff. Dude benches 320 with ease and his chest is swole.

Its not that big of a problem. You eat the most expensive burger/pizza meal X10 every day. If you eat more than 10 or 11, CJ doesn't hold the food and doesn't get fat. I got up to over 50% in 2 days, and I was maxed out buff. You can have fat and maxed out muscles. It takes two days working out on the treadmill/bike to get the fat off, but its really easy. You don't have to go to the gym everyday to keep your body toned though dude, you just have to run around for a little bit doing missions and stuff.

Yeah, I only do it in-between missions when I'm just passing time like sticking people for money or getting a cut or another tat. So much to do as far as exploring and mini-missions.

True that. I just got through playing and did one story mission, but exported 4 cars, completed the Ammu-Nation gunrange mission and valet missions.

Has everybody gotten use to the drive by controls yet??

It's still driving me nuts..thinking of picking up this controller...its got the white and blk buttons as shoulder buttons.

Also how far is everyone along with the tagging and taxi cab drop offs. I've tagged 31 and dropped off 50...not very far along in the story missions though...really want to get 100%...does that make me a geek????

I've had that controller since WE8 was released for the X Box, I've been using it since day one that I purchased GTA SA.

The only difference is I bought the one that glows with led's, it's a bit more than 14.99, the one I'm talking about is 19.99.

My thoughts............


The analog sticks are no where near as stiff as the original X Box ones, however, they are more stiff than the PSII ones (or at least it seems to me).

The buttons seem to react well, sometimes on the new shoulder mounted Black & White buttons need to be pressed in a bit hard to react.

I purchased two of them back then, one as the plain non led / non rumble for $14.99, and the other with all the bells & whistles for $19.99.

The $14.99 plain one had one of the buttons die on me within about 2 and a half months after purchase, I returned it to Gamestop, and they gave me a new one no questions asked.

On a scale of 5 stars, I'd give the plain one 2 1/2 stars, and the loaded one 3 1/2 stars out of five.


As for how does it perform for both games, well.......thats why I bought the controller as the B & W buttons are placed perfectly on the shoulders for both games.

It makes both games basically more controller friendly.

OHGuy: The turf wars come back, but its towards the very end of the game (story missions).

pb4201: I don't use drive by that much, haven't need it much. There's been a couple missions, but nothing major. I usually use my middle finger for the trigger and then thumb for the black/white buttons & index for the gun button; gets me by. Most of the time I use a bike.

I haven't done that many taggins and zero taxi cab missions. I'm not even going to try for 100%. There's too much stuff to do in this game its insane. The 90 at the Driving School mission is hard as crap, but I managed a silver. TIP: Get all silver and get a Bullet (Ford GT).

I think I'm a little under 50%. One gripe about the game, there's not enough icons on the map. They should have a filter to show you all your property assets such as the Valet, Zero RC Shop, etc.

If anybody is having trouble finding cars for List #1 at the import/export garage, holla at me.

Thanks Act. I was hoping the turf wars would come back at the end of the game.

One thing that has been frustrating me is how quickly CJ loses muscle. I'm way out in San Fierro and I have a hard time making my way back to Los Santos. I wish they had a gym in San Fierro.

Also, what the hell was the point in me buying Zero's little RC shop? It's not making me any extra money.
