I would do it if I could pick the 4 games like you said. I have only interest in one of those games. Give me Madden, PGR3, PD:Zero, and Ghost Recon and we have a deal.

There's a bundle with Madden in it on Gamestop.com.....

I don't know if the $1,200 price tag is worth it though.....

I want the premium with controllers that have wires. Hopefully someone comes up with that. I can't stand wireless controllers.

How in the world can you hate wireless controllers It's ne of the best videogame inventions in a long time. I love my wireless controller, I can't play without out it.

Your MS hate and Sony fanboyism gets a little old after a while. I would like to know why you think that these "bundles" will hurt the 360's sales. You can still buy just the console at a local EB Games or Gamestop. I am also willing to bet that most consumers who will purchase a 360 (or PS3/Revolution for the matter) will buy one from a store where they are not offering any kind of bundle. Also, how is it a rip-off? The price is the same if they bought all of the stuff included individually.

Gamestop and EB Games have done this for every system prior to launch. They always throw on some wack games that nobody really wants and forces the online buyer to purchase them if they want the system on launch.

Guys, if you think you will be able to walk into a store and grab just an Xbox with nothing else, you are either ******** or just ignorant.

$50 got you a reserve for the Xbox 360 deal they have going on, not the system itself.

Not one person is going to walk out of there with like...the core system and just madden.

IF you think they can take a preorder for a system, take your money, then tell you months later that you were really pre-ordering a bundle, then you are ********.

I've done it with every system launch, bundles are for online only, always have been. Please don't take this thread down the wrong path.

Umm...they did the exact same thing with the original Xbox.

I preordered it in Febuary of 01, and when the time came around for me to pay the rest, I was told I needed to pick a certain amount of games to go with it, and that was for an instore pre-order in Ocala, Fl. My friend up here in MA had to do the same thing at the funcoland he bought his from. Oh and also my other friend who bought it from a TRU in Bellingham, MA.

i remember the system being 300, and then needing to purchase 3 games with it.

Don't know what to tell you, I've never seen a store make you buy a bundle. I bought my orginal Xbox no bundle, PS2, no bundle, PSP, no bundle, Dreamcast, no bundle, etc. I have never purchased a bundle in my life and always got the system on launch from an EB Games or Gamestop.
