I was at EB games trading in some games and the guy there told me if I pre-ordered a game that I would get an additional 30% off my trade ins. So I look at the display case and nothing tickles my fancy until I see Half Life 2 coming out in November. Remembering how good this game was on the PC years ago I couldn't resist. This game was the best FPS I ever played (even Halo can't match it). Has Half Life 2 already come out on the PC? Has anybody heard the buzz on this game because if it's half (pun intended) as good as the original this game will be awesome.

For me, it's a rental due to no online stuff. Granted, I'm pumped about the rental, but no online unless it's a sports game=no buy for me. -

How was the original Half-Life? I played a little of it but didn't get into it all that much. I did hear that a lot of people enjoyed it though. I love to start stories from the beginning. Maybe, I'll be able to finish the original before the 2nd comes out. Any thoughts on how the first was? in comparison to the PC also?Comment

I loved the original Half Life for the PC. Complete classic game, in my top 5 of all time. Story and gameplay was so solid in that game. Highly recommended. I never played the PS2 version though.Comment
