    $400 vs. $3,000...hmmm

The first one sure looks better to me.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

              bump

Anybody picked this up? I went ahead and picked it up last night when I was picking up nba 2k6, CoD, Madden and condemned for the 360. I figured since it will be working on the 360, might as well.

I love this game so far. Played it for about an hour. I never played it on the PC, so I have no comparisons there, but I really like the feel of the game thus far.

              So..yeah..anybody else get it?

I'll probably get it to play on the 360, I just sold my xbox on ebay.

I'm only going to rent it. It doesn't make sense to buy it when it's just a single player mission and that's it. The main appeals of half life(outside of the main game) is the multiplayer and all the mods that are created.

                    Re: Half-life 2 for Xbox

I rented it. I figure I can finish it in a week. FPS's are third, behind sports and RPG's, in terms of genres that I like to play so I may not be as critical as some other might be. I'm only a couple hours in, but I think its a great game. Story, characters, enviroments, puzzles, A.I. , graphics. are all top notch. Since I only care about the single player mode on shooters it makes it practically a perfect game for me. The only issues I have with it are: 1. Getting stuck on objects sometimes. and 2. The pauses for loading during the middle of levels.

Also, a console game that lets you save ANYTIME you want is always straight up money.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.
