Holy crap. I didn't even know that. I thought it was going to be almost another month. Dang, time flies by so quick. I'm definitely giving this thing at least a rent. I still haven't watched the movie even though it was on Spike TV. Accidentially missed it. I might have to see if I can find a way to check it out sometime before I get the game. Good looking out....

This game has promise. But my only fear is that while Rockstar gave us Grand Theft Auto, it also gave us State of Emergency.

If The Warriors is anything like SoE, with just mindless beating, it will get old really fast. I'm hoping it won't, as the movie "The Warriors" provided Rockstar with a great story on which to base the game and give it more depth.

And you have a Thanksgiving Holiday too? What a school. That's sounds so sweet on the real.

I haven't played SoE. I honestly like what I see in the videos, but it is a little more gruesome than I'd be use to. I hear that the movie was wonderful. I just hope that there is a solid plot. And even with Grand Theft, I've had the feeling that I've played and upgrade every year like a sports game. This game could be something great....but then it could be an overhyped product. Definitely will be checking out a few sites for the review also after I check it out. Thank goodness for HDLoader huh??

heres some impressions from someone who has supposedly gotten the game from wal-mart so take it for what its worth, its from ign:

Initial first impression....w/o any spoilers...the element of suprise is amazing when you begin this game

-graphics remind me alot of Manhunt's, so i.e. they arent bad, but they arent superb by any means.

-the fighting engine is awesome in all respects...it is sooo fun....the blood adds all the neccesary realism...the moves are pretty cool, not sure if you get better or more moves as the game progresses, then again i havent opened the instruction booklet...

              -the music is GREAT!

              -Presentation=simple,easy...if thats what you like...

-overall-easily addictive, good game thus far

SoE was the most overhyped, disappointing game of this console generation. It had the misfortune of being the next Rockstar game after Grand Theft Auto III revolutionized gaming, and SoE was a giant, putrid turd of a game, any way you sliced it.

                        I liked SOE.
I watched the movie on Spike too. Caused a concern for the game. I thought there'd be a lot more fighting in the movie but there was lots of running instead. Hope the game isn't like that.

My copy is in the car waiting for me to leave work. It is one of my favorite movies so I was always interested in the game. After reading the reviews I had to get it. I cannot wait to see how they tell the story prior to the movie.
