i was getting my oil changed today and was waiting around and was suprised when i went in the electronics department and saw the 360 hooked up and ready to play at walmart. they had call of duty to play. it was good and the atmosphere was pretty good but i wasnt overwhelmed, but i only played for less than 5 minutes too, it was fun tho.

best buy in the nati has it hooked up to a 55 inch sony wega...and callof duty was running on it...(little kids) were hogging it ,if bengals were not about to come on i would have stayed and"bullied em to give me the controls,but i got toplay a bit a week ago at walmart...very nice

Played all tha games on tha 360 demo the other day. Xbox 360 = The Truth. While nothing really blew me away, I heavily enjoyed Kameo and COD 2. I think playing sports games in my own home and relaxing will blow me away though.

the local 24 hour walmart here in albuquerque new mexico had a 360 setup with the demo software on there.

I LOOOOOOOOOVE the controller... still some jaggies on those demos, and the nba2k6 video is totally WRONNNNG..

Something must be wrong with the Wal-Mart setups, because when I saw people playing it at my local Best Buy, I didn't see any jaggies.

There were no visable jaggies at the Walmart I played it at. At least none that I noticed.

king kong game.... all that grass.. when in motion, it just seemed to cause a lot of havoc on screen. do the TREX scene.. maybe its just me.. my walmart does suck though, so maybe they used coaxial to setup the video feed

I agree I went to the walmart here in auburn hills Michigan nothing really blew me away but then again I am a sports guy, I was impressed with call of duty 2 but thats not my bag.. So I CAN wait for the 360 now that I got my hands on it for a while. I was suprised to not see a line of people to play it, I think people dont know its there yet cause I just walked right up and started to play.

Watched some guys playing Call of Duty in Trumbull CT FYE...looked nice, but I wasn't blown away. Also, they are using a Samsung HDTV. Don't get me wrong..looked nice but nothing that made me say...whoa...I gotta have this thing! It didn't look like a "next gen" thing. It just looked like a sharper, crisper version of COD.

I am waiting to see how the games shake out. I am a sports guy, and Madden will really have to not only look great, but play great to get me to even consider the 360. Are there any baseball offering slated for the 360 come springtime?

Call of Duty 2 isn't going to blow you away by it's graphics, the game is based off of old GPU architecture. This game has much more going for it though, than graphics.

Nothing really blew me away either, but I was highly impressed with Kameo and King Kong. For Kameo to have HDR lighting, AA, advanced mapping techniques, insane amounts of particle effects, mathematically correct water, heat haze, depth of field with thousands of characters on the screen running at buttery smooth frame rate is impressive, especially for a launch title. Kameo looks very polished. King Kong has the best rain ever in a videogame, and the T-Rex....

The kiosks should get updated demo discs in the coming weeks, so hopefully we can try out some of the sports titles, PDZ, or maybe even PGR3.

As for a baseball game on the 360, nothing has been confirmed, but I think there's a very good chance of one.

went to a Walmart today here in knoxville, and I'm trying to look before I even get in the actual electronics section to try and catch a glimpse of it, and then I turn the corner and see that white controller sticking out in the aisle. I may have actually said hell yeah out loud. So I keep my head down, check out the controller, feels great. So i check out the controller, raise my head up and the screen is black, i'm like ok what's the deal, I look at the console and its not turned on.

So i go to one of the employees and ask them to turn it on, the lady has the audacity to tell me they are leaving it off because it causes too big of a comotion when its on. Closest I've ever came to hitting a lady.

kidding. Needless to say, I was pissed.

I played it over the weekend. I tried out COD 2 and King Kong. COD 2 really impressed me the depth of field was amazing. So much action was going on and you could see so much on the screen. I enjoyed it, just pumped me up even more!

I finally got to play the 360 today and I have to agree with the game having jaggies ,while I was playing COD2,while you're in the jeep on your way to the battle area, there a dude right infront of you,and I noticed his arm was not smoothed out(I'm sure it will be on launch day)and had sharp edges.Who ever mentioned the NBA 2k6 video was dead on that was the E3 video,very old.The King Kong game was nice but didn't seem very responsive when I pressed the buttons on the controller,but then again I didn't really know the controls well,was hoping for a playable version of Gears of War,dissapointed when at the end of the GOW video they said available in 2006.
