I finally got to play the 360 today and I have to agree with the game having jaggies ,while I was playing COD2,while you're in the jeep on your way to the battle area, there a dude right infront of you,and I noticed his arm was not smoothed out(I'm sure it will be on launch day)and had sharp edges.Who ever mentioned the NBA 2k6 video was dead on that was the E3 video,very old.The King Kong game was nice but didn't seem very responsive when I pressed the buttons on the controller,but then again I didn't really know the controls well,was hoping for a playable version of Gears of War,dissapointed when at the end of the GOW video they said available in 2006.

I finally found a 360 in San Francisco over at Best Buy and got to put in about twenty minutes with it. I primarily played the COD2 demo (the guy in front of me managed to take about 45 minutes to complete what should have been a 10 minute mission), but I took a quick peek at King Kong and at some of the movies. My impressions are overwhelmingly positive. The controllers are a little small, but lightweight and very comfortable. It took me a bit to adjust to the extra set of triggers up top, but it's a major improvement on the old black/white buttons. COD2 was generally very impressive. The visuals were crisp and sharp, and there was an insane amount of action going on all over the screen, which really helped sell the feeling of being on a chaotic battlefield. It was also nice to see grenades being used so heavily by both you and the AI, as that's something that has been underrepresented in FPS games in the past. Yes, the game is scripted, and yes, I missed the tactical elements of BIA, but the immersion factor was very high and the game was just fun to play. I'm really looking forward to both the North African and the Russian campaigns.

I agree with the other guy who played King Kong and was confused. So was I. The game looked terrific, but it's not something that I'd ever be into. I didn't touch Kameo (zero interest). I watched a few of the movies- the 2K6 movies, which were old, and the Ghost Recon movie, which was simply ridiculous. GR3 was a must buy anyway, as I love the series, but if GR3 actually ends up looking like it does in the trailer, that game is going to move a lot of 360s all by itself.

Graphics were very nice, very good sound too, The controller is smaller than the old controller-S.

I came to work 10 minutes early to play the 360.. I'm really not impressed with the demo's.. They look alot better then the Xbox games, but I expected more.. To be fair 720p might not have been enabled..

the two i've seen didnt. Just CoD, Kameo and King Kong, and just videos for the rest.

Best Buy has the 360 set up here finally. CoD looked and played great, should end up being a fantastic game. I wasn't planning on picking it up but I may if Madden cronks out on us I may buy CoD based on how cool the demo is. King Kong borders on being graphically amazing but it looks like it was be a very stupid game IMO. King Kong vs. T-Rex in a Primal Rage style battle? No thanks, I'm not 7 years old anymore. Anyways, the graphics are increadibly impressive across the board. It looks and feels next-gen.

Oh, and the new controller is GREAT. Microsoft really refined the shape of it.

Last night at the Hickory, NC Walmart I got to play COD2. Very nice very nice. Graphics were great, and the controller was really well made out. Took a few mins of getting used to, but after that I was good to go. Got something to look forward to in Jan though. Gonna get one when CH comes out.

About a week ago, on my run to preorder... I watched someone play it.

It was amazing.

I started a random conversation with a random guy.

I almost peed my pants when someone threw a grenade through the hole in the wall that the guy was hiding behind.

I really like how the left and right triggers are assigned to different types of grenades, makes it a little more realistic IMO

I got about 10 minutes with the 360 at the Concord, NC EB games at the Carolina Mall. That demo is one sweet setup. Xbox must have put some serious cash into those.

I played COD. I wan't planning on getting it, but now I am. It was sweet. Skyboxer was right, the smoke was freakin' awesome!! The action is extremely intense. Great game.

I definitely don't think there is the kind of jump we saw from PS1 to PS2 and Xbox, but still a nice improvement. The controller is fine!!! Very sweet.

The 360 is definitely worth the purchase IMO.

i play'd about an hour of it at my local gamestop... the playable demo's looked amazing to say the least. I play'd COD2 (definite must have for FPS war gamers) King Kong, & Kameo.


the level of detail without no jaggies, and no framerate drops is breathtaking. I can't wait for 360 to drop
