I called my EBGAMES today just to confirm everything. He said they are definitely opening at midnight due to the Gamestop in the mall also opening at midnight and that doors will open at 11:40.

Well, I got a voicemail on my cell phone from gamestop that Madden, Tiger, and NBA2K6 will be on the shelves tommorrow. Those are the games I pre-ordered. I also had them reconfirm that I'm on schedule to get a console at launch, and it still looks good.

I haven't pre-ordered (waiting 2 weeks after launch till finals are done) and I plan on putting down $550-$600. Premieum, 2-3 games, extra controller. Maybe Xbox Live. Now that will be painful (in terms of mentally, not going to bankrupt me or anything)

Just noticed on Gamestop.com, that they are again taking preorders for the XBOX 360. They have some different bundles and one of them is an EA bundle that includes Madden, Tiger, NFS: MW, FIFA, and Live. It says, of course, that they may not ship 2006. I would check it out if someone doesn't care to wait a few weeks.

I picked regular shipping and mine said the same exact thing and Madden and Live shipped for my bundle but not PGR3. It said last night they were in New York so I should recieve them sometime today and the actual system probably on the 23rd.
