Yeah, Duece, I was really getting worried. All of the preorders that I had been through, that had been mysteriously cancelled, and now all of the sudden this comes up. I was overwhelmed. I think for $700, it's a pretty good deal, considering there was no guarantee of getting one. And getting my hands on one 3 days early... wow. Maybe we can now hoop it up on Live.

Maybe a miracle will happen, and it will come in on Friday, lol.

Now, I just hope I can get my hands on a copy of 2k6 and Live... I'll probably hold off on COD until I get a little extra cash. This took a considerable chunk :y4:

Now, the best part is... I get the Party in a box too :y4: I'll be stylin and profilin'.

Oh, I'm stoked right now.. I'll still be camping out though, try to help some of my fellow OS'ers who aren't able to get one, and maybe get one to sell on ebay to try and pay for some of mine :y4:

Either way, hopefully this weekend will be a good time to rest, relax, and spend time w/ my 360 and hope my fiance doesn't get upset, lol.

So far the early reviews haven't been too promising.

I still haven't preordered any launch games, keep waiting to hear about a good one to reserve.

I work at Gamestop and we got our instore interactive today and our shipment of Perfect Dark Zero (Not the collecters). So me and my manager that was working that night got a crazy idea. Why not play some PDZ after closing time?

Let me just start by saying WOW. What a masterpiece of a game. We started with some Co-op. After we completed the tutorial level we went straight into the rooftop level witch is the first level of the game. We have all seen the videos so im not gonna tell you about what happens. I just need to emphasize that this game is as smooth as butter. Its absolutly the best game that I have ever played. The way you control you character, the way you fire your gun, and the way the bullets hit the enemy makes you feel like your in the game. Anyone who is a FPS fan will appreciate this game.

After we finished the level we noticed that it was 9:30 and we have to be out of the store by 10:00 so we went straight to multiplayer. We played the desert level (I cant remember the name). Controls and the feel of the game are just the same as single player. There are indeed 27 guns and you can custamize almost everyhting about the match. I do have to say though that the way this game plays does feel alot like Halo 2. But it does take alot more skill to take someone out.

So in conclusion people dont doubt this game. It rocks and so far with the hour that I had with it, it has fufilled all of my requests and wishes.

The first gun I picked up was the Superdragon. I think that this is going to be the most used gun because it is great for short and long distances. It reminds me allot of the Halo 2 battle rifle it wasn't burst fired" - Notice the H2 comparison yet again

The Combat shield was interesting to use. The textures in it are ridiculously cool and looks near photo realistic. It did ware out and break after a good pounding. It is possible to use a gun and the shield at the same time" - I never even heard of there being a Combat Shield. Did you guys? Or maybe I just missed that.

"The Defshotgun is pretty much the standard Shotgun and really isint that special. At the right distince though it is a one shot kill. For a shot gun it does have great distance and that worries me a little." - hmm...weird that it has distance because the shotgun in PD didn't at all (well it did but with even less accuracy than it already had). I hope the double-blast is back. That was wickid!

my eb just called me not sure when I will get mine they say, im # 15 on list and there getting 10 on launch.
