I was 1-19 to start off my UNO career

    I think I'm like 21-59 right now

It's a lot easier to win when you actually call UNO.

      Moron.

            Moron?

Anyway, I called Uno every time except for the first 2 games and often catch out those who don't, so I guess I just need more time with the game

i tried to join hoosier's uno room a couple of times, but i was always too slow. then when i got invites from other OSers i was already in a game of something else. however, i did play some uno this weekend and i love it! i was skeptical of purchasing it at first because it sucks in single player. then once i saw so many people online with it i went ahead and bit the bullet. uno is waaaaaaaaay better with human opponents.

I have a question regarding your gamertag zones, specifically family zone.

How do you know your in a "family zone?" I thought that if I had a family zone gamertag, the language would be cleaner.(3 kids, ages 7, 10 and 13)

I just purchased UNO and played a long time online last night without the mic. I thought to myself, if my kids want to have fun and play Uno online, the family zone should be ok.

Wrong. My 10 year old tried it and of course, he hears the word bastard and the f-bomb. I was a little shocked, but I don't think MS can prevent what's being said on Live.

I have no problems with swear words, I just won't allow my 7 and 10 year old to use the headset or go on Live again. The 13 year old may get some usage on it.

                        word to the wise...

if your child isn't old enough to be hearing profanity, please don't let him/her wear the headset. if i had a kid they'd damn sure wouldn't be allowed online.
even in the 'family zone' you're not safe from swearing. i admittedly drop a ton of 'f bombs' and never give a second thought about who i'm playing against. if i hear a kid in the room i watch my mouth, but most of us don't even think about little ones being online.

I never really played UNO, but you guys seem to be having a blast online. I might have to buy it.

Yeah, I learned my lesson on that one. I thought it was safe in the family zone. Live and learn on that one.

It's just mind boggling. Our 13 year old daughter begged us a year ago to go on AIM and chat with her friends. I fought that one, but gave in with limited time on the chat. At least with AIM, it's with friends. Now, her friends are on My Space. As a parent, I don't like that place, but it's not bad if your older in college or promoting bands, etc...... One day , I found 4 pics of her on My Space that her cousin put up. I told her to remove the pics.

Thanks for the advice, it was a wakeup call for me.
