I read there are a few other features in this update not mentioned. This is a rumor of course.

Originally posted by Longhorn6Playing while downloading will be very nice....especially since it takes my 360 so long to download stuff...
I've been dying to play something, yet this Hitman download has taken me 2 hours haha
It depends how many people are downloading the same thing as you. I couldnt even get past 10% of moto gp the first day that came out..I waited until the morning and it took me 10 minutes.Comment

Re: Xbox Live Marketplace and Live Arcade Discussion
The demo made me want to rent it..and since I wasn't planning on playing it at all that's pretty good. I finally finished the demo and it was cool had they had a newspaper covering the what happened in the level. I also love the music at the beginning of the demo. I hope they have more like it in the game.DON'T PANICComment

Re: Xbox Live Marketplace and Live Arcade Discussion
Heh you guys suck. J/K Probably just don't know what you're doing.
Should be noted the AI in this is better than it was in the PS2 demo. Could be that this is on normal and that was on easy. This also has 38 people instead of 39.
Since this is all I can currently play on my 360 here's my way to make it more fun (as in killing all 38):
Throw the coin out the window, hit the bullseye target.
Bring out the fiberwire, one should be a little back of the other so use it on him, pick up his gun, enter first person and shoot the other in the head, get his gun too. You can disarm them by pressing R if you're spotted.
Guy from the gate isn't actually dead so go put a bullet in his head.
Enter the theatre, pull out the gun,go into sneak mode. Get in the FP view again and shoot the thing the gangster is holding.
When you get to the door don't shoot or pick the lock. Shoot the wall. FP view again (cause it's easier to aim) aim at the door, the 2 guys inside will open it,since your gun is pointed at the door and their guns aren't drawn yet it's easy killings. Get the shotgun before disposing of the bodies. You'll have to pick it up again after disposing of them.
Take the knife from the closest and throw it into the Chemists eye. Suit doesn't matter. Switch to the shotgun.
Open the door, get the shotgun and blow away the 2 guys on the walk way. There's 4 optional guys to kill on the ground.
Going through the door drop the shotgun on the ground, get on the elevator and strangle the guy. Get the shotgun again and drop it again once down in the elevator. Break the box retrive the gun,it'll make noise and alert the gaurds if you have it on you while breaking the box. Go for head shots or just shoot the stuff under the tables. There'll still be one hiding.
Drop the shotgun,do the human sheild thing and kill those 3 guys, after knocking that guy out put a bullet in his head too.
Sniper thing is self explanatory, note the brain matter spilled out and on to the wall when the garud on the ground is shot in the head. That's next gen!
Drop the rilfe when entering the office take the syringe, push the guy out the window but -don't- poision the drink. Hide in the closet with the syringe ready. After taking a drink the girl will sit down, enter sneak mode with the syringe and kill her, toss her over the railing too.
While Mr. Swing King is begging for his life walk over to the left. There's another desk there with a hammer on it. Pick it up,enter sneak mode, get behind him, hold R and let it go when it's fully charged for the coolest thing since Manhunt. Throw him over the rail as well if you want. Can take the bat off the wall to the right as well if you want to but that's not as fun.
Pick up the mine and detantor but when you go in through the window -don't- put it on the winch. Instead stand next to it and toss the mine down into the middle of their little meeting and detonate. Even kill the hooker this way.
That's how to kill everyone and make it through alive with minimal fuss.Last edited by goh; 05-25-2006, 08:23 PM.Comment

Re: Xbox Live Marketplace and Live Arcade Discussion
More Dashboard update details. Plus an even bigger update being planned for the fall. Nice.
Active Downloads (multiple, background, etc)
- Boot to Dashboard Option
- Redesigned Marketplace
- Instantly play downloaded trailers, apply downloaded themes, etc instead of going through menus
- Fast forward and rewind for trailers
- Improved data retrieval for CD's
- Resume Playback on DVD's
- Will be marked as idle on your friends list if you are away
Other updates to the various media functions of the 360 include fast forward or rewind capabilities (up to 16x speed) in Marketplace videos, improved data retrieval for names of CDs and individual tracks, and the ability to resume playback on a DVD from where it was last stopped.
Sometimes, 360 owners just want to unwind with a game of Geometry Wars Evolved or listen to some tunes, but when powering on the machine, the game that was in the drive boots up. Not anymore. Gamers will have the option of setting the 360's default startup to the dashboard or whatever disc is in the drive.
The system's online functions will also have a few extras as well. Now when a gamer is idle, it will say so on players' friends lists. There will also be an option to have separate gamer pics for friends and the general public. Presumably, this is gearing up for the compatibility with the Xbox 360 camera peripheral, which is supported by this update even though it won't be released until this fall. Until then, gamers can use available pics.
Though the update sounds like it will take up a large chunk of space, it doesn't require a single byte on the hard drive. It actually doesn't need a hard drive at all. The update is flashed to the 360's internal hardware, and won't be stored on the hard drive, making it compatible with either SKU of the Xbox 360. It will initially be available online, and may be available on disc further down the road.
Microsoft is already at work on a fall update, which the company says will be even more robust and will include more features.Comment
