Thanks for any help anyone can give.
no, to get online with XBOX, you must purchase a subscription of use a free trial for XBOX Live. The demo is free after you get online. You need a credit card or debit card to sign up.

If you don't have broadband, online isn't an option on the 360, as far as I know. I would suggest getting an internet connection via broadband and getting XBOX Live. It's money well spent, if not just for the demos.

Man to man though, how do you justify having a 360 and not having internet service in your home? I would go nuts.

        New details on SFII...

GameSpot is the world's largest source for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PS Vita, Wii PC, 3DS, PSP, DS, video game news, reviews, previews, trailers, walkthroughs, and more.

Intended to replicate the arcade experience, quarter matches will let two players duke it out while a group of spectators wait for their own chance to dethrone the reigning champ--similar to the online mode of the Xbox 360's only fighting game so far, Dead or Alive 4. Just as in the arcades, onlookers will be able to watch the brawls while they wait their turn, trash-talking the fighters or discussing strategy. Players' "quarters" will be used to represent their spot in line.

Before entering a quarter match, players will be able to choose ranked or unranked matches to determine whether or not stats will be tracked for the Xbox Live leaderboards. Beyond the somewhat common all-time and monthly leaderboards, Hyper Fighting will include rankings broken down by character, as well as a board for the most consecutive wins.

You don't need a credit card for XBL.
You can buy a card in a store and the trial that comes with the premium system is free too,no card of any kind needed.

Finally completed level three in Zuma. Man, was that tough. Surprisingly, level four wasn't as difficult. Seemed strange. Now, I'm stuck on level five, but at least I'm done with level three. What an addicting game.

" 'Geometry Wars' has been our 'Halo,' " said Greg Canessa, the group manager in charge of Live Arcade.

Know what, I finally got a chance to split the connection and get on XBOX Live. GW is so freaking addictive. I'm definitely saving up my little pennies for that sucker to be unlocked. I see so much potential for games coming on this system. I wonder if they'd consider putting Ms. Pacman on there?

Personally, I would put NBA JAM, Golden Axe, Marvel VS. Capcom 2, Streets of Rage, and Super Tecmo Bowl in my top 10 but overall not a bad list.

Definitely would get bomberman. Oh, that game still gives me the chills everytime I see it. Think of the replay value that sucker has. Man, they gotta toss a few of them games on here for crying out loud. I'd definitely get that MT:PO. Joint was classic. Man, there are a hell of a lot of games on that list. I could see endless hours of play on this system before I even buy another current next-gen game.......
