Left my house about 4:30-4:45 this morning, and arrived at Sam's Club about 5:00AM. People were camping with tents, they were the first in line. I was #12 when I arrived. At 6:30 the manager came out, and made sure everyone was a business member. A few people were not, so they left.

Then he started at the front of the line, and said your card has to have YOUR picture, and YOUR name on it. First victims were the guys in the tent camping since late last night. They weren't too happy, but what'd you expect? When it was all said and done I was moved to #5 in line, and got my Xbox 360 shortly after 7:00AM. Been playing it ever since, set up was a breeze, and the XBL transfer was easier than I thought.

I'll have to venture out, and cancel my TRU pre-order today. Ah what a good feeling.

Picked mine up at KMart. I got there at 5:15 AM and was second in line. They handed out the tickets at 7:00 AM. They had 4 premium and 4 Core. Of course I got the premium. I've been playing some Madden so far and really like it. It definitely plays like a Madden game.

Picked up my TRU bundle. I stopped at Target on the way home and exchanged NBA Live for PDZ collector's edition. Just have to scarf down some Wendy's and I'm ready to play.

Well i just came home about 15 minuter ago with my TRU bundle, and I will play in a little bit, The funny thing was I was talking to the guy in front of me waiting in line, and after talking and bringing up OS with him, he's say "I go to OS too" then he says "What's your name on OS so I say FF, and he like Oh ***t I''m bigfnjoe, It was nice to meet someone from OS....

Just picked up my TRU bundle pack. Sold Kameo on the spot for $45, then went to gamestop and traded in Nba Live 06 for 2K6 straight across for even exchange, then upgraded controller for wireless one, pretty happy right now. TRU came through bigtime considering I pre-ordered 2 weeks ago

Picked up my TRU bundle at 9:00 am, my store only got in 16. Target does not require a receipt on exchanges?

well i guess it pays off to be nice. For any of you that read what happened to me last night, here's the short version. Well basically I had been told the whole time I was on first shipment, long story short, they only got 30 and i was 31. So i was pissed, got up early this morning, tried a few places, no luck. So i figured I would just stop by the same EB and pick up the rest of my preorder minus the system. She remembers my name when she walks in and says she has one for me and thanked me for being so nice last night and she felt horrible that she couldn't have helped me out last night.

Needless to say, I am STOKED. to the 360 i go

WOW I have my system in hand for an hour now with out even looking at the box, I'm so thinking about selling it on ebay, I cant believe the prices right now...

Just got the 360 bundle from TRU. I got there about 10 minutes after they opened and they had already sold out of all non preorders ( about 8 units ).

I'm working from home today so the suspense is killing me - yet I'm posting on a message board. Go figure!

Good to hear other success stories, especially for those of us who grabbed the TRU bundles after reading about them here 2 1/2 weeks ago. I can't thank my fellow OS'ers enough for breaking that news.

A-freaking-men. I would have been SOL today if I hadn't heard about that TRU news when it was posted on here early this month. Thanks a ton, people. I got mine this morning around 9:30am, after waiting in line for about 20 minutes. I had a guaranteed preorder bundle, but apparently they had 12 systems to sell to the non-preorder folks who waited in line all night. They gave those tickets out around 7am.

Got my bundle and got King Kong, which was streetdated today for some strange reason. Now I just need to get through this workday....ugh.

By the way, I went to EB to get a faceplate after I got my 360 and it was like a morgue. Lots of people coming in only to be told they couldn't have a 360, despite the fact that they preordered with a deposit a long time ago, because MS cut their allotment. Not a fun job for the guys working at EB and Gamestop today....

from what I hear, you may want to leave the shrinkwrap on that and get something else.
