It's not hard to hook up just needlessly complicated.

Power bar hooks to 360 but you have to plug another plug into the power bar. It's not like the current one where it just plugs in.

Wasn't too bad setting up XBL,a bit of a hassle but I just got it now when I got the system. The gold trial automatically kicked in. Guess I'll need a router.

Downloading the Deathrow patch took mere seconds big noticed a big improvement over the normal Xbox and I got this hooked up to a VCR not a HDTV,getting the NBA Live 06 demo took a while though.

Trying to figure out custom playlists right now. Songs rip a lot faster.

Was in line from 11:30AM until midnight today at Wal-Mart. Was 1st in line and received the premium at 12:01. Long day... but well worth the wait.

Already having problems, why the hell is my wireless controller just flashing? I set it up no problem, xbl, no problem. all of a sudden, the light on the controller is just flashing and I can't do ****!

Edit: no prob,figured it out.

Wooo!

I went to the EB at the Eatons Centre. Showed up at 11:30 and waited for around 2 hours because the harddrive on 1 of the tills burnt out. Luckily I already bought NBA2k6 and PGR3 earlier in the day at Game Centre. Well worth the wait, now all I need is that HDTV...

Well my stores launch went smooth as silk. We had everyone pre-rung so at 12AM we just gave them their system and we were all out by 12:45. No fights, everyone just had a good time telling stories and messing around with the kiosk until 12. The wal-marts and BB are packed and if people waited until after 7, they were out of luck. The BB and CC close to us already had the line formed and full. A few had already pitched their tents at Sears. I hope all of you guys have or had fun while waiting. Off to set mine up.

Well, no offense, but that should have been obvious from the second anyone found out there was a "power bar" to begin with. The reason the first Xbox just has a cord is because the power supply is inside the console. They wanted to be able to make a smaller casing this time, hence the power supply being on the outside and needing a cable to run from it to the outlet. I wouldn't call plugging in an extra foot of cord "needlessly complicated".

Got mine at midnight tonight...it's now after 2 and I am going to be HURTING at work tomorrow.

I picked up the bundle pack, Call of Duty 2, Perfect Dark Zero, Madden, and NBA 2K.

All of them are pretty darn fun...and of course look great.

I have mine coming in tomorrow from Circuit City. A core though so I was out on the market tonight looking for a premium.

After a couple Walmarts and one Meijer I was about to go home and just upgrade it as I went. By the way Meijer just had 5 and was doing a raffle with like 300 people there. Crazy. But anyway I found one more Walmart close by with 12 or so. My friends got there with 7 other people in line already. Making it 10. The assistant manager comes in and says listen up, at 10:00 we are closing so move closer to the doors. At 12:01 I will come out and hand out ten tickets to the first ten. Than you can go home after that and pick up the system tomorrow at 7:00, but if you don't have it by 7:30 it goes on the shelf! Here is the problem, 2 premium and 8 core. I need that premium! But atleast I'm assured one or the other so that is cool. Fighting the 20-30 degree weather was rough but I watched MNF and some Simpsons afterwards on my lap top so time went rather quickly.

Picked mine up at 12:00 am at a Gamestop that was 3 hours away from where I live (I moved but kept my preorder). I just got home about a half an hour ago and am too tired to set it up. I don't even know why I am up. I have to work 12 hours tomorrow which sucks because I will be itching to play all day and I will be a zombie to boot. Can't wait to dive in tomorrow night!

just got home from Gamecrazy where I preordered mine had about 25 ppl in front of me so I pulled my car up and listened to some tunes till it was my turn to pick up my system.

Got in line at Circuit City at 3 p.m. They only had 10 premium and 3 core, so I feel lucky to have gotten one. People lined up at about the same time outside Best Buy, and they aren't opening until 8 a.m. It was pretty cool that circuit city opened at midnight just for us 13. Temp was a little cool at 40 degrees, but at least there was no wind.

Perfect Dark Zero is impressive as is PGR3. Madden is also nice, but I here you have to have an hdtv to really enjoy it.
