I don't understand how Halo3 is going to stop anyone from buying a PS3. PS3 is going to have some great exclusives too.

What is there to expect in the next generation Halo?

The best multiplayer experience ever...

And i think the gap has closed between sony titles and microsoft..look

Gran turismo series- Now matched with Forza
Grand theft auto- Microsoft eventually gets it, and they have Saints Row
Killzone-Halo...which is much better

Everything that sony HAD i think went down the drain this next generation considering Microsoft has come up with solutions to there big titles..

Just my opinion.

Well Halo 1 basically made me sell my ps2 and forget about ps2 forever...then came halo 2 .

did it ever occur to you man that Sony is not only about the quality of their library, but its vast quantity? o and Sony is also largely about rpgs..kingdom hearts, FF, etc. point is i'm taking ps over xbx any time of the year..

I dont think Sony if helping their FPS at all..look at the damn controller they have. It just looks like an awful FPS controller

and microsoft made the perfect shooter controller IMO

True but I hate rpgs! On the other hand 360s seems to have a few good looking rpgs comming FF and that new one by bioware?? I think microsoft has alot of quality in their library of games. I'll take quality over quantity any day of the week.

The PS3 controller does look weird and uncomforaable, but I haven't used it yet so I can't really pass judgement.

What about SOCOM? SOCOM is Sony's pajamas now.

While people may have been thinking about Halo 3 on Xbox 360, has anybody yet really considered what kinds of things Rockstar could push with Grand Theft Auto on PS3? Just think... 10x the size of the San Andreas world, plus great graphics (with even 1080p support), incredible draw distance, and at 120 FPS? Not to mention if they get licenses for cars, etc. Absolutely flawless! A sim world gone wrong, that's all I have to say...

Anything bigger than San Andreas, is too big IMO. They should make the graphics better, make ever building accessible, etc before making the map even bigger.

Hey, put it this way. The Halo series is like online porn to some gamers, it's very Big...They sold a ton on release day for halo 2 it was crazy, there were lines like they were releaseing a new system or somthing. If they do release Halo 3 When the PS3 is released, tust me it could hurt sony, yes a single game could very well hurt sony.

After I played Halo 1, I had to buy an Xbox. I will be buying 360 for Halo 3. IMO, they are the best games I have ever played, just so damn fun.
