Haha, im not sure how they can make this game much better...

few things is:
A few more vehicles
a lot more weapons
old maps from halo/halo2
NO CHEATING..find a way to eliminate it

I just don't see what Halo was doing. I don't even see the beauty in it honestly. Maybe there is something I'm missing. I gotta download some of the trailers. Was Halo 2 much greater in detail than Halo? Honestly, after seeing GoW, that is clearly the greatest looking game I've seen. I also saw that Call of Duty 2 up close and I had to duck behind a few of the video game aisle cause that stuff looks real. I just don't see Halo bringing that type of realism and depth in graphics to the table even if it's using the full capacity. Maybe it's because of the type of gameplayer I am. Not into multi all that much. Like eliminating the cheesing and crap. Single is the life I guess. Halo franchise seems way to overrated to me.......

Halo and Halo 2 is overrated to the people who don't enjoy the game of course. Some people just don't dig it but imo Halo 2 is the best multiplayer game on the xbox. Like many others I used to have a PS2 and picked up an xbox with Halo and having been balling out on the xbox ever since. I recently picked up a 360 and I can't imagine what Halo 3 will look or play like. I'm drooling at the possiblilities already and can't wait to hear anything about the game.

I just don't see what Halo was doing. I don't even see the beauty in it honestly. Maybe there is something I'm missing. I gotta download some of the trailers. Was Halo 2 much greater in detail than Halo? Honestly, after seeing GoW, that is clearly the greatest looking game I've seen. I also saw that Call of Duty 2 up close and I had to duck behind a few of the video game aisle cause that stuff looks real. I just don't see Halo bringing that type of realism and depth in graphics to the table even if it's using the full capacity. Maybe it's because of the type of gameplayer I am. Not into multi all that much. Like eliminating the cheesing and crap. Single is the life I guess. Halo franchise seems way to overrated to me.......

Halo 1 and 2 are cool and I mostly play singleplayer. I liked the storyline behind both of those games more than anything else, granted the story is simple. I think it's one reason as to why I enjoy Quake 4 so much, the story draws me in. Both Halo and the Quake series are different types of games, but they involve humans doing battle against aliens which is cool. I'm not into multiplayer either, unless my brothers or friends come over and we play some sports games.

did it ever occur to you man that Sony is not only about the quality of their library, but its vast quantity? o and Sony is also largely about rpgs..kingdom hearts, FF, etc. point is i'm taking ps over xbx any time of the year..

Yes, there's nothing like sifting through oodles of terrible, terrible games in the hope of finding a few good ones to get my heart racing. It's kind of like being stuck for an hour in Blockbuster trying to find a halfway decent movie amidst all the crap.

In any event, there's no reason to think that the PS3 is going to have a much bigger library than the 360.

(And yes, Halo 3 will be THAT great.)

halo 1 was decent and halo 2 bored me. it's just not my type of fps.

however, i didn't buy a 360 for halo, i bought it for the other games. the xbox 360 is a complete package and i honestly don't see how the ps3 will be better than it. blu-ray means nothing to me, and the playstation exclusives don't typically interest me very much. i'll more than likely buy a ps3, but the 360 will get the majority of my playing time. ps3 really needs to come up with some sort of online system because they're getting left in the dust by not doing so.

Halo is a GREAT game and Halo 2 was very fun in multiplayer. My friends seem to be split btw "Halo 3 is the next coming" and "Halo 3 is going to continue a downward trend," that latter view being that of those who are looking towards PS3. Truth be told, i want both systems, but at their prices + the game prices i know i cant afford them both. I never owned a ps2 but i did play alot of big name games, and I had a ps1 from 96'.

The main point that i wanted to put in this post was that I completely understand those who don't like Halo or see whats the big deal, bc i feel the same way towards other titles that are seemingly worshipped. I played the hell out of the devil may cry series on my friends ps2, but it seemed like a game id rent 1nce or twice, not a classic series. Ive never been big on MGS or GTA. Ive preferred the games in the genre that GTA created to the actual one. I think the GTA was just having too high of expectations and lt lacked the freedom of other games. With MGS i played the firstone, the re-release or whatever (with the mini missions) and MGS 2 and MGS 3, but I never saw what made the games great. I guess its bc they werent mine and I never experienced the full expanse of the stories like I have with Halo. I completely forgot where i was going with this... so im just going to bed... nvm me lol...

Halo 2 online was a ton of fun, but I was pretty disappointed with offline. It definitely felt like they rushed the game a bit.

i just hope we can save at anytime while playing multiplayer...this should be a no-brainer but game developers rarely add this feature!

if Halo 3 is anything like 1 or 2, it will be an over-rated, bland, extremely repetative game.

People seem to love this game, but it's one of the most tedious, repetative games I've ever played. The same few weapons used to kill the same few enemies over and over and over again in the same setting, etc, etc.

Halo 2 was a bit better with level repetition, but Halo 1 was the worst I'd ever seen. I remember going through about 30 identical corridors at one point and finally just shutting the stupid thing off.

The Halo series is maybe one of the most overrated I've witnessed.

Metal Gear and SOCOM beats Halo and Halo2.

Those games was worth owning a PS2. I played Halo and Halo2 and couldnt get into it. Plus putting time into those games made me weaker in sports games. I would rather be good at sports games than good at Halo.

I'm not much of a multiplayer gamer myself but as far as Halo goes, that is the only game I love playing online. I dont find much cheating and cheesing and the matchmaker is the single greatest thing to happen to XBL. Every match I played was outright fun when you got ppl who all have the same skill levels. I have'nt even touched the single player on Halo 1 or 2. I never knew what the big fuss was about ethier till I put this game online. So its easy to call it overrated unless you spent some hours online.
