    Nintendo Revolution price confimed!!!

Nintendo President Satoru Iwata has confirmed that the new upcoming Nintendo Revolution will cost under $299.

Nintendo Satoru Iwata has priced the Nintendo Revolution to $299, if not less

Without a shadow of a doubt, I will definitely be picking this system up on launch. Nintendo has done it once again. Thank you Mr. Iwata

I'd like to see it come down further to maybe $250. When they were promising a low price point I was expecting something a bit more drastic than $299, considering you can get a stripped-down 360 for that price (and maybe less come time for the Revolution launch).

If I don't get one at launch, I'll at least get one once the price drops some. There's just too much of Nintendo's back catalog that would be fun to play to miss out on it.

LOL, so the price is under $299 at some price point. Thanks for confirming that.

If it costs anywhere near $200 then I'm not getting it.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

Kind of figured that it would be cheaper than $300 so to speak. I'd definitely be trying to get this sucker when the price drops on the real....and when I have the money. Thanks for the info anyway Countryboy.

By the way, what have they done again for real?

On another note, I didn't know it was expected to launch in May 2006. That narrows it down for me a lot more. I figured it was around spring/summer time, but May does solidify a better window.

As for what they have done again, read above.

The word launch is a bit misleading. The Revolution isn't supposed to come out until the 2006 Holiday season. The system is going to "debut" before or at E3 in the sense that they will give full details and have actual gameplay footage of upcoming titles as well as playable consoles. That is what is meant by the word launch.

i dont know about the system. i might wait until it drops to about 150 dollars like the gamecube and get it for the backwards compatible. i can play any game made by nintendo.

How in the world do you know the system is terrific or even will be for that matter without even playing it, plus how in the world could you say that without even seeing any specs Nintendo always seems to some in last place in the end, so I really don't see that changing anytime soon.

I give it to nintendo for trying, but I think there time has come and gone. I see no reason to by the system at all, unless your into Metriod/Mario. I will not even touched this system.

I'm all over the Revolution. Different controller which all the developers are high on, every game in the Nintendo library, etc. What's not to love about it.
