That's pretty much how I'm feeling.

Now I just have to decide if I want a Rev or save up and get a ps3.

How do you know that the system is terrific when all that has been released is information on a controller?

Tell me when Nintendo has let gamers down, and then I will stop speculating that their system will be terrific.

Besides for gamers my age, the Nintendo started it all. I can't wait to play all the old titles.

Getting a new system to play old titles just seems stupid to me.

When I bought a PS2, I had about 20-25 PSone games, and still do, but I haven't played them once since.

As for it being priced low.. Not sure I agree with that. $299 is about the price that the basic models of the other consoles are selling at, so if anything it seems to be priced right around the other consoles.

You rrrrrrrrrrrreallly want to go there?

                  - Gamecube was a joke and a complete failure (with regards to the competition)
                  - Only a handful of games were enjoyable (RE4, Metriod, Eternal Darkness, Windwaker, Viewtiful Joe)
                  - No 3rd party support
                  - No sports games
                  - No HDTV support (nor will the Revolution have HDTV support)
                  - Constant delays on Killer-Apps (It's damn near 2006, where the **** is my Legend of Zelda)

Truth is, Nintendo hasn't been competitive since I was in middle school...and that was damn near 10 years ago. You know it's bad when they even market the Revolution as an 'alternate,' console.

With that said, I'll still ****ing buy one.

$299? No way in hell Ill pay that. I was interested when speculation was under $200, but I wont pay $300.

Hell I was interested when rumors were flying $99-$150 dollars. I was interested at that point but as a poster pointed out the Game Cube was not very succesful sure they sold millions but there were many developers who dropped support.

And I agree where the **** is Zelda?

Granted if they release some kick @$$ titles at launch then that could sway me. But looking on how long it took them to release games for the N64 and the Game Cube i'm having my doubts about the Revo.

everytime they come out with a new system....lol. I never owned the gamecube and never wanted too. Nintendo just isn't a great game making company like they used to me. There system are always made for youngsters and thats why I say away.

To me, it had a bunch of very good games on it though, it gets more play than my PS2.

If you are buying Nintendo for 3rd party or for your only system, then you are confused to begin with..LOL

Again, I have my Xbox for sports games.

Gamecube does run in 480p, and has more prog scan games than the PS2 does. I also believe the Revolution will run in 480p as well, and while not HD, I'm satisfied with that.

The delays are annoying, but from everything I've read, they are now setting Zelda up to run on the Revolution, while still a Cube game, will use the Revolution controller and what not.

The with Revolution having no HDTV capabilities, it will hurt nintendo in the nextgen war more then you think.

Not at all IMO. There are not as many homes with HDTV's as you think. Plus, if it's 480p, that's fine, it'll look great. The Cube looked better than most PS2 games and a few XBox games.
