If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Besides for gamers my age, the Nintendo started it all. I can't wait to play all the old titles.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Re: Nintendo Revolution price confimed!!!
Getting a new system to play old titles just seems stupid to me.
When I bought a PS2, I had about 20-25 PSone games, and still do, but I haven't played them once since.
As for it being priced low.. Not sure I agree with that. $299 is about the price that the basic models of the other consoles are selling at, so if anything it seems to be priced right around the other consoles.Enjoy football? Enjoy Goal Line Blitz!Comment

- Gamecube was a joke and a complete failure (with regards to the competition)
- Only a handful of games were enjoyable (RE4, Metriod, Eternal Darkness, Windwaker, Viewtiful Joe)
- No 3rd party support
- No sports games
- No HDTV support (nor will the Revolution have HDTV support)
- Constant delays on Killer-Apps (It's damn near 2006, where the **** is my Legend of Zelda)
Truth is, Nintendo hasn't been competitive since I was in middle school...and that was damn near 10 years ago. You know it's bad when they even market the Revolution as an 'alternate,' console.
With that said, I'll still ****ing buy one.Cameras or guns, one of them is gonna shoot me to death.Comment

And I agree where the **** is Zelda?
Granted if they release some kick @$$ titles at launch then that could sway me. But looking on how long it took them to release games for the N64 and the Game Cube i'm having my doubts about the Revo.Comment

To me, it had a bunch of very good games on it though, it gets more play than my PS2.
If you are buying Nintendo for 3rd party or for your only system, then you are confused to begin with..LOL
Again, I have my Xbox for sports games.
Gamecube does run in 480p, and has more prog scan games than the PS2 does. I also believe the Revolution will run in 480p as well, and while not HD, I'm satisfied with that.
The delays are annoying, but from everything I've read, they are now setting Zelda up to run on the Revolution, while still a Cube game, will use the Revolution controller and what not.Comment
