Exactly so when I hear Sony say we have a 100million plus user base I say that's BS and it goes to show how figures lie and liars figure. Don't get me wrong I would not get rid of my PSTwo until I get a PS3, but Sony makes it sound like there are alot more PS2's than what's really out.

50% of the top 10 games are from EA, that's impressive.

I'm surprised the GBA is still flying off the shelves.

        PS2 - 1.5 million
        PSP - 1.12 million
        GBA - 1,213,196
        GCN - 606,423
        DS - 1.07 million
        Xbox - 415K
        Xbox 360 - 281,441
Sony is still pushing the PS2. They really put it out during their holiday season (which is why they didn't say anything about PS3). Yeah and people replace their PS2 sometimes (but when you call Sony they fix your PS2 or send you a replacement for free..).

Can't say I'm surprised about GBA. It's cheap, and that's what parents will look to for their children (since it has lots of fun kiddie games). Nintendo seems like they're still doin' it BIG.

Xbox... Well... Look at it this way. With 360 out, people would rather save for that then buy a original Xbox (resulting in low Xbox sales). And since there is a 360 shortage, 360 didn't sell the way it really could have. Microsoft really could've played the market alot better than they did...

Can't believe PS2 sold that many....I guess the "smaller" version caught on.

pretty funny that the game cube, ps2 and xbox sold more than the 360.

How could the 360 sell that much with the shortage that was going on

Man wish I knew they fixed that for free when they were charging cats around my way $60 to do it....I just traded mine in after it broke and got the slim version for $70.

They all also had a 11 month head start, but I still don't think the 360 is selling 1.5 million in a year's time.

I still have a launch PS2 and its going strong (knocks wood). I did have to get another Xbox though (Thompson drive failed).

I'm on my second PS2, but it's only because when I once went to my friend's house, we set the PS2 up high on his shelf or something. Anyway, you know what happens when your controller cord just ain't long enough for you... you have to tug on it. And uh...
