Nah just kidding. I think it's funny that people hate on EA. If EA makes a product I don't want I wont buy it. I held off on Madden this year because of the last two years. People are hating on EA, but there is nothing personal in it. They are a company and want to make money bottom line. Plus, do you really think the guys who make Madden sit around going how can we screw the gamers?

As far as Bioshock goes for every form of entertainment there are always a few gems. This is one of those times and I can't wait until Tue.

Bioshock is one of those special games like System Shock 2 and Knights of the Old Republic. Madden this year is pretty decent. So EA when they want can turn out a good game like last years NHL07, unfortunately they turn out more average games than good ones. It's the price you pay for being the biggest in the industry.

I can't wait to see what Gamespot is going to give it. Candy thinks the Gamespot reviewer might give it an (8.5) because according to Gamespot it's a 10 hour game, Flaw says about 20 hours. I do think they will give it a mid to upper 9 score.

i am gonna agree with you and say that it will get at least a 9 from gamespot.

the next 3 days of waiting ( not including today) will be painful.

I was excited for this game but after playing the demo... wow! This is an easy choice for Game of the Year.

I have never been a believer in FPS shooters on the 360...but this game is literally light years above anything else i have seen. It is the new benchmark for game development (from what i can see from the demo)

Does anyone know if Legacy controls are in this game? It seems like a lot of games these days don't include the option...

And as we near the release, can we have a separate thread for spoilers?

I went to cancel my LE order at Gamestop and the guy said "are you sure you want to do that?" He dipped into his magic shelf and pulled out a LE. I took one look at the incredible Big Daddy figure and said, "okay forget it, I'll see it Tuesday."

The figure looked fantastic.

I played through the demo and still wasn't impressed by it at all. I just felt bored overall during the process.

However, the video at the end looked quite promising. It looked like there were some much cooler weapons and plasma power thingy-ma-bobs. So I may consider looking at it when it comes out.

If nothing in the demo impressed you, then don't even bother with the full. I wonder what some people expect out of gaming if something like that demo leaves absolutely no impression other than boredom...wow. I don't think I'd even bother with the hobby anymore, personally.
