    Re: Lair PS3

Honestly, I picked this game the other day on ebay for cheap, played it last night for the first time, It prompted me for a patch, I know this patch was for controller the game with the analog which I do when playing. I just wanna say this game is nowhere near bad as the reviewers have written, I also know that game was reviewed without this patch being involved. The game is beautiful and I'm really enjoying it. I guess that's why they say don't base the reviews of games on sites, your your only best critic.

I will most definitely looking for this squeal, thats if there is going to be one.

Factor 5, the game's developer, is apparently closed, so I don't think we'll be seeing a sequel.

EDIT: Altimus beat me to it. Actually, I had the post all ready to go, I was just checking my facts before I submitted it.

Finally got this game yesterday and played it for a while (with the control patch, obviously).

I must say that I like it a lot. I love the story and atmosphere, and the scale of the world. Still learning the combat controls, which are pretty confusing for me at this point, but gameplay is really fun.

What I don't like is the camera, I just find it hard to focus on the action at all times.

Fighting that huge snake coming out of the sea, reminds me of Shadow of the Colossus, which is a plus, since I loved that game.

So, stupid question...... the patch does completely away with the sixaxis and you can play it like a normal human gamer?

EDIT: nm, I found out the answer, so grabbed a cheap ($5.50) copy on half.com

You still need to use the Sixaxis during combat, but you mostly control the dragon with the sticks. I have never played it using only the Sixaxis, though, so I'm not sure if the patch is a savior or just gives you alternate controls.

The game can be frustrating at times (the camera...), but it can be epic. The music is one of best ever, in my opinion, really inspiring.

Great experience. Got it for $3.99...you can't go wrong!
