Re: XSATA - The Ultimate XB360 PC/HD transfer device
I'm gonna hold on to mine as I've actually gotten really quick at putting stuff on the hard drive. It's worth it to me now for WE and the ESPN baseball game, and will more than make up for it when and if MVP and ESPN football become backwards compatible. I had saved a few of my wife's SSX files onto the computer and put them on there as well for her to play around with.Comment

Buy it from Gamestop, if you don't like it you have 7 days to return it to get your full $50+ back.Comment

Yeah for sure. Reading about how hard it is to hook up tells me I'm gonna need a bit of help with it.Comment

Re: XSATA - The Ultimate XB360 PC/HD transfer device
I've never used it, I have the memory card transfer kit, but from everything I've read about it, the memory card method is a lot easier. The only real advantage of the XSata is that you can transfer Xbox 1 saves, if that's a big deal, then it's probably a good product. For me, I have no desire for any Xbox 1 games, so it's not needed. The Memory Card method was cheaper to boot.Comment

Dave360 loves this thing. You will get people that either like it or hate it.
Once I was able to transfer my files to the 360, it worked fine. I think this thing for $50 is a flimsy piece of plastic that they should have charged $25 for at the most.Comment

Re: XSATA - The Ultimate XB360 PC/HD transfer device
Let's put it this way, I'm tech savvy and I found this product to be a bit of a pain installing it and transfering files. That's why I took it back to Gamestop and just sticking with my Transfer Kit. I bought it for XBOX1 games, but it's not worth the aggravation imo.

Yeah it's flimsy for sure, but once you get used to the setup, I actually prefer this to using the TK software. It takes way less time, and you can just drag and drop saves like the old AR software. Like I said I bought it solely for WE Option files and it's been well worth the money just for that purpose as I've played more WE on my 360 than Madden, NCAA, or any other 360 game, and as an added bonus, I copied over my wife's Pirates Saves as well as saves for some other backwards compatible stuff. My best guess is that someday, MVP will be b/c and I'll be ready for that.Comment
