Re: Battlestations Midway
Someone please give some in-depth feedback on this game. EB games has 1 copy left and I want to purchase it. I love strategy type games. Favorite game is RB6. I have searched boards to no avail. Any advice is appreciated. ThanksThe poster formerly know as "FLIGHTWHITE"Comment

I played the demo 5-6 more times, and ended up in some really good rooms, and started to really like itComment

Re: Battlestations Midway
This question goes out for anyone who played the single player game, does this game offer enough without going online? I don't have DSL where I live so I have to rely on good single player games. Also, does it offer anything more than just campaign for the single player? like deathmatch or high replay value in general? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. I love war strategy games and this one is catching my eye.Last edited by coffeeholic; 01-31-2007, 10:32 PM.ByurrulzIdon'tfollowComment

I got the game for the PC. It took a LONG time just to get through the Naval academy missions(Training) Its worth it going through them though. You will forget some things by the time you start your campaign, so keep the instruction book handy. There is alot of stuff to do coordinating your fleets/formations/AI/controlling the various craft.
I stopped after the mission where you have to prevent the japanese from landing on te Island with your PT boat. After the traing missions and that, I am sleepy, LOL. The game is holding my interest and looks like its gonna be fun as you progress through the game. The cut scene after the landing mission has me getting a promotion to man a Destroyer(Woo Hoo cant wait till tomorrow to continue). I think you will be pleased with the single player game. There is alot to do in this game.Comment
