LOL at you trying to post a bias price list to justify being stiffed in the behind by Sony.

If you want a playstation 3, just buy it, but dont try to make it seem as though Sony isnt giving you the shaft by trying to make it seems as though the other console is also stuffing you dry when we all know both companies make money off of accessories.

I could concoct a list like that for any system I really wanted to, but this is just pathetic.

I'm just saying. Actually i'm getting a 360 in the next month or so but i'm just trying to prove a point here. If you want a system just to paly the games the definatly get the 360 because the price is more affordable but if you want it for the whole entertainment aspect then the price is just about the same. BTW, if the 360 was the same as the regular Xbox trhen yeah you need a remote, I guess I jsut thought it was the same not sure though.

How? If I want the whole entertainment aspect along with the games, it evens out. Not to mention I want wireless controllers along with being able to charge them. I have to buy those extra with the 360 when they come right out of the box with the PS3. Makes no difference for me as i'm in it for gaming and am getting a 360 in June but my whole point was that sure it's pricey if you want it for just gaming. A lot of people though like the whole entertainment aspect and I think the PS3 as a lot to offer right out of the box and is affordable if you want it for everything.

all I know is it's pretty damn expensive, too expensive for me, and probably a lot of you guys here...if not, enjoy playing it, no need to try and rationalize it in front of the world, you just have to convince yourself to open the wallet

I'm working and I don't really care that much about the price. It was to be expected so I don't know why people are so shocked.

These systems aren't geared towards 10-21 yr olds. We need to start realizing that.

The past couple of years, every time i went into an EB Games on a day that a new title was to be released, I saw nothing but grown men (mostly nerdy looking) buying the new releases while the younger kids just stood there and played the in-store kiosks.

If the PS3 rocks, which I expect it to, I could care less about others complaining about the price...as long as I'm having fun. I'm looking at the PS3 as an addition to my entertainment center, not just a videogame system.

heh...I'm not a "Sony guy". I never sold my XBOX because NFL2K5 is still an amazing game.

Just getting one next gen console and when I saw the 360, I said I would wait to see what PS3 brought to the table. I'm definitely satisfied and relieved that I held out.
