Definately go for it Dookie... it's an amazing game, and I'm having a blast just riding around doing crazy stuff.

Re: Saints row discussion
Dookie, the online is great and a lot of fun. Depending on who you play with. The one thing I noticed though is that the cars lag online. If you play a map with no ccars you should be fine.Comment

On a side note: a few reviews I read said this game's attempt at humor was poor. Maybe it's just me, but I've found a lot of the dialogue and "extra stuff" funny as hell.
This game really is great.Comment

Re: Saints row discussion
there are just a lot of little things that make this game nice. For example, it was night and i saw one of the shops, so i kicked in the door only to realize it was closed and i had set off the alarm. I then wandered around a bit and found the safe. I then picked the lock to the safe but took so much time that the cops arrived and i ended up in a shootout before getting the package over to the pawn shop.
Anyway, two questions.
1. how do you pick locks? I did it, but moreso on accident and it took me forever to accomplish.
2. when you do get the loot, i couldn't seem to get in a car while holding the package. I ended up having to walk all the way to the pawn shop which was quite far away. Am i doing something wrong? Seemed that i couldn't do anything but drop the package and pick it back up. No way to get in a car with the package?Yankees, Manchester United, Chicago Bears, New York RangersComment

Once you perform the correct rotation with your left thumb-stick, you have to hold it at its completion spot to begin the next rotation... essentially it all flows together as one big sequence.
Ex: If the first stick movement tells you to do a half-circle, counter-clockwise from the left, once you get to the right, you have to hold the stick in that position or the next movement will be cancelled and you'll have to start over.
Hopefully that makes SOME sense...Comment

Re: Saints row discussion
I know both games are completely diff, but if you had to choose, Saints Row or Oblivion?
I picked up Oblivion couple of weeks ago but im just not feeling it. Ive tried 2-3 times and im just not getting into it.
What im getting at is i had to decide between Oblivion or Saints Row. (only have enough money for 1).
Any recommendations would be appreciated.Comment

Re: Saints row discussion
I did play the demo, and liked it, but it was very limited. The game is great, at the beginning its a little choppy during the cut scenes, but cleans up nicely. I'd give it a shot, maybe spend the $7-$8 to rent it, then buy. Its a must buy for me, single player will take me awhile, then I'll jump online with it every so often. Solid game overall.Comment
