Other reviews have given it 7.5, 8.3, 86, and this 9.0 from IGN is good if you ask me.

I have put in about an hour with this game today. The textures and color pallette looks a bit better in the full version over the demo.

One thing that I still can't stand about this game like the demo, it's still too dark. You can adjust the brightness within the menu screen thank god. Yes, this is an enhanced version of the Doom3 engine, but there was no reason to have the game be so dark.

The storyline as everyone knows is about a Cherokee Indian trying to save his girlfriend that was abducted by the aliens. Not the greatest story but does the job here.

Overall it's a decent FPS for the amount of time that I put into the game. I do also like the Spiritual Walk feature where you walk out of your body and then your spirit can walk through doors to solve puzzles.

Is it worth the $60? I would say yes, but if your on the fence either rent it or just wait till you can pick it up used.

I have enjoyed the gameplay, but am a bit bothered by the very violence (some of it very graphic)involving children in the game. I don't appreciate but understand this sort of situation when it is relevent to the story or making a point (maybe something like Silent Hill). Here it seems to be very unecessary to a story. I read a poster somewhere (maybe here maybe somewhere else) that they thought it was great someone had the balls to include violence with children in a game. I don't see that as testicular fortitude but more shock value.

I'm not a fan of violence with children in games. On another forum someone had a poll going that children should be included in GTAIV, people are wacko. Rockstar is in enough deep water, that's all they need now is to get more negative attention.

I like the single player game so far and the multiplayer is fun if you get in a game that isnt' laggy.

I can understand why people didn't like it since to some it's another Doom3, but on the flip side of things it's a really good game imo. I don't regret spending the $60 on this one.

Killer game. I have it for the PC... now, should I buy the 360 version? I want to... I didn't pay much for the PC version...

I really like this game. It's got a great story, great pacing, a few innovative features, stellar graphics, and blood and guns! If you like Doom, Quake, UT, I can't see not wanting PREY.

I rented this for the 360 today and would love to get some online matches in. I'll try and setup a server around 10pm eastern and send invites to everyone on my friends list who has it. I hope it's good as I may pick it up when I pick up NCAA Monday night.
