*starts packing up apartment* ps - just got killed cause i lost the guy in the sun.. he came right up on my back & whammo...

I've played it for about a half hour now, and it is a good game. Unfortunately, there is no online co-op. It's mainly dogfighting. You set aside room for 7 of your friends and have versus. That's the closest you get to co-op. There's no missions online.

I think to really enjoy this game you have to approach it on expert and use all the sim settings. On arcade, it gets very boring. I have played a few missions which mainly involved intercepting the enemy, so to comment on the AI would be premature.

I'm not sure why people are saying the graphics look terrible. In the sky, I think the game looks great. The carries look nice, but don't come across believable in the water. They just look out of place. Everything moves smooth and there are no moments of hitching.

The game has a quirky Japanese feel to it. They use the 2D player models in briefings etc., and it kinda gives you this Street Fighter feel. It's actually kinda cool. However, I think the presentation is lacking.

It's a good game. It shines where it should (in battle). I'm just really let down by no online co-op.

switched to expert level... yikes.. ran out of gas trying to land back on the carrier... as for the AI, dq is right - still early to tell, but they did manage to evade several of my missle shots i fired

One thing I'm confused about. Why are most of my missions starting and ending with me in the air? I hardly ever take off and have not been given the opportunity to land.

i was doing it cause i was out of gas... i checked the settings menu & it says "landings - auto or manual".. maybe that changes things?

went back & did this: switched landings to manual.. then when the mission started, I did not touch any buttons - just let everything "play out".. next thing i see is that i am on the taxi way & had to taxi to the runway..
