You can def. CS early on before the umm... bad thing happens.

You remember when the leader stripped you of your rank? Well seeing as you've brought the traitor to Al Mualin (sp? i dunno) he gave you some of ya rank back and u have your sword... well when u continue playing, you'll earn your moves back that you had access to at the very start(counter strike being one of them) so for now, you're going to have to deal with combo killing (X then X again as soon as your sword makes contact)

Counter Strike killing is done by holding RT and pressing X when their sword is about to make contact w/ you.

How do you block? lol. Seems simple, but I can't figure it out. Bad *** game so far though.

while you're in combat mode (Pressing LT on an enemy) hold RT and he will block.

after doing the 1st three assasinations what do you do then, im at a city and have no new objectives.do you have to do allt he view points and citzen save things? if so lame.

Wasn't gonna buy this with mass effect next week, but I'm weak. I made the mistake of stopping by a BB to just 'look.' I thought it would be sold out or something so I told myself if it's there, it's a sign and I have to pick it up. They had at least 20 copies.

I hate to say it but as I was playing this game last night I was feeling like something is missing. I would agree with everyone else that the cities look great. I think however that the people look much more realistic in COD4. The other members in your squad with you looked unbelievable (in COD4). However I must say that Altiar's animations when climbing & fighting look great.I couldn't quit playing that game. Played through that in the first night. I am currently playing Oblivion. I am brand new to the RPG. I am really enjoying Oblivion. I am thinking that maybe AC is not deep enough. It would be great if the world in Oblivion looked like the one in AC. I think you should be able to interact with the surroundings more. I have only made it through my first assassination. I will continue to play thru it and see if it changes my perspective. Believe me when I say I really want to like this game.
Also the whole sitting on the bench thing is lame. Why do I have to sit on a bench to eavesdrop? Also why is it when I sit on a bench between two people I become invisible? Its kinda silly. It would have been cool if he could wear different clothing to disguise himself. Just a thought. I would indeed rent this game first because I am thinking once you get thru the game you won't be much inclined to play it again. Rent it and play the hell out of it for a few days and see how you feel about it. There were quite a few points made in the IGN review that I did agree with. Oh well....I am off to slay another unsuspecting evil doer!
