After finally collecting 18 of the 20 Assassin flags in Masyuf, I got on my first horse to head to Damascus. I seen a woman at the top of the hill, just for kicks and giggles, I go full speed with my sword out and take a swing at her. After I sliced her, she layed on the ground moaning in pain. It was so gruesome, yet funny!!! I'm loving this game.

The more I play, the more I stand by my comment that this is very similar to Shadow of the Colossus.

I'm really enjoying this game so far although the damn beggars are getting hella annoying. Is there any way to make them stop bugging you?

Is it true that people are experiencing freezing when playing AC on PS3? I could see this going hand in hand with the firmware 2.0 patch rumor.

I have played it for a total of about 3 or 4 hours roughly. It has froze on me one time.

Yeah...sure, it's a little repetitive, but I spent like 6-7 hours last night, and then like 4ish hours today, and I still really enjoy it. Going to different viewpoints is fun. Trying to pickpocket, while easy, is still kinda cool. I like the informer assassinate missions. Even though i'm doing a lot of repetition, it's fun.

One negative, and it's more my personal style than a detraction. I don't quite feel like an assassin when I attack my target, I always have to kill a bunch of guys and then the target. I wish they did something more with stealth in killing the final guy that level. You get all that intel (Oh, I collect it all...every citizen saved, every interrogation, eavesdrop, pickpocket, etc), but it's useless. I don't really feel the need to read through it all (though I do, cause I'm a nerd...I sat for 5 minutes mapping up the hints and the map, then realizing it didn't matter in the end).

This just makes me want the Hitman series more I guess. I know I mentioned it before, but that type of gameplay on the kill of the boss, where you have to execute correctly or pay the price would be great.

At the same point, that might take away from their intended run/kill/hide type dynamic, I dunno. I think it's just a personal preference.

Given original reviews/impressions, I wasn't expecting much. I was very very happily surprised.

I'm chiming in now with about 7 hrs of gameplay in my belt with it.

the world is IMMENSE. You can literally just walk the way to the different cities and have it take 1 to 2 hrs just to get there being mindful of evey guard LOl. it's THAT big. the environements DO feel varied.

i've only assasinated two dudes but what was of it was NOT repetive. EVERY kill had a back story and a reason why each guy had to be taken out...

If the WHOLE game continues like this...THEN Ohh BOY we might have very stiff competion here for one of the greatest games of all time...PERIOD it's THAT good once you lose yourself in it. And for me the story in VERY intriguing and touches on things that are pretty deep once you get head around it and once I finish i hpefully will no doubt be dscussing. SO far the story's more interesting to me that Bioshock.

I'm in the process now of capturing all of the King Richard's flags, going to the top of all the Viewpoints, and killing all the templars in the Kingdom. It is going to take forever, I love it. This, combined with FFXII and Mass Effect will keep me going through the winter.

yeah i had no clue how sandboxish this game might be but n a real good way. it's just fun exploaring to and getting familar with the surroundings
