It's a fun game, and I can tell it won't last all that long, but it's a lot of fun to play while it's going...

I think this is a great advancement, as time goes on all games will look this good, have ease of movement, etc.

Perfect game? No...not like Mass Effect, et al. At the same point, it's pretty damn cool.

Just finished the game. The story is pretty predictable, and yes, the investigations got EXTREMELY repetitive, but I still had a good time playing through. I actually had fun with the fight engine, and the free running through the cities is unreal. Overall, it's a solid, yet flawed game. I'd probably give it an 8/10.

Tell me about it, their add stated they would have it by 6:00, then they said they had it in stock but wouldnt sell it until 6:00 and by the time I got there at 6:05 they had already sold out for the 360 and had a few copies remaining on the PS3. Thankfully Best Buy price matched without calling so I still got it for 39.99, I know I said I would wait and see but I figure if I dont like it I can sell it for 35-40 anyways so I wont be out anything in the end anyways.

I played the game for about 3 hours and it got way to boring and repetitive for me. The graphics were solid but I found COD4's graphics to wow me more. The AI being so dumb at times was also a turn off. Im actually kind of happy I held off and didnt buy it. I'll just borrow it from my friend when need be.

I have one mission left.

One thing that bugs the hell out of me is when you have a crap load of guards around you and switching which one to block, its so frusterating. I really hate doing the assassination mission mini games as well. It always seems I kill the guys and then all of a sudden someone see's me from the street and I have to start over.

8/10 is right where I have it. With just a small hint of RPG elements like(GTA) and this could have been one of the best games ever made.

Wow i don't like this game Its alright for bout 20 mins. Im sure it is great/good to people that like these kind of games. This game is just not for me. I knew that before i got it but sometimes a game will come along that i like(COD4).Just not my type of game i guess.

Yeah, I can understand how you might not like this...

At the same point I've had a blast the past 2 hours just saving citizens and doing all the missions before going to the next main one (I like clearing out areas sometimes). For the first night I'm really enjoying this, but I can see how it'll get stale after a while.

It has me dreaming of what the next Hitman can be like...I know Ubi doesn't make that series, but can you imagine plugging in the environment of AC with the Hitman style (a million ways to do the same thing, requiring a lot of thought, etc).

And the player animation and interaction is just spot on for most part. The beginning tutorial left me with the same feeling i got when i first played Ocarina of time and how you learned to do everything. ALREADY this is loads better than PoP...

Yeah, this is much better than I anticipated...sure, it's not the deepest gameplay ever, but it's fun! I liken it to God of War...in GoW you just end up hitting the buttons a lot, it's very repetitive, but it was a really fun game.

I don't think AC could really have made everyone happy because of the overhyping. If you take it for what it is you'll have a lot of fun. Every time I do a leap of faith after a viewpoint it's amazing. Just seeing the whole city, then the swan dive into the hay.

If you're fighting someone, you could grab them and throw them into an empty merchant stand and it will collapse on them and kill them lmao!

Last night I had a crazy experience. I was able to get the "survive 10 minutes" or whatever it is achievement. I didn't try to do it. I killed the slaver in Jerusalem. Then instead of staying and fighting, I took off running. I must have had two dozen guys after me. Everytime I'd try to climb, I'd get knocked down or I'd pick the wrong place to do it and get stuck. I must have killed 10-15 guys at least with another 10 showing up. I honestly thought I was going to die. I ended up getting out of their vision, hiding on a rooftop somewhere, and finally made it to the bureau. I didn't do justice in my description as to just how crazy this was. I was actually yelling at the tv to get out of there! I usually don't run from fights but I was getting my *** kicked. I love this game!

Game is great but there is 2 things I do not like.
1.Why cant you just kill anyone, if you kill to many innocents the game will just start back at the last checkpoint.
2.The damn beggars, I am like following someone and a beggar gets all in my face "need some money sir", wish I had money so they would leave me the hell alone. I dont know how many time I have been tryin to assinate a guy and a beggar run in front of me and I kill him/her instead....lol.

I also think it is amazing how you can hide from guards on a bench...lol.

candy, its funny you mention this. On this weeks 1up podcast, Mark McDonald complained about the same thing. he wished they had a mini-game where you could beat up the beggers.

Lol, that would be great. I never listen to the podcast. The beggers just are annoying.
