Rented and finally got to play it and I think it's pretty good. Probably an 8.0 is my initial impression.

Started playing this game on Friday night, and so far its a very good game. The detail in graphics is insane and even the story so far isn't too bad.

I'm really trying to enjoy the sci-fi aspects, I guess it would have been so much better if we didn't find this out till later in the game..............but with only being in the game now for 2 hours or so, there might be more awaiting.

I must be a really slow gamer.

I've been playing since release (an hour here, an hour there), and am still not finished. I don't even know how much I have left to do.

Do the little scenes in the apartment or whatever get shorter as the game progresses? I hate being immersed into 1191 and then being brought back to present day.

yeah they get shorter as you get further along in the game I finished it last night.

I've been playing this game at one assassination at a time. I take my time so I've ended up spending an average of three-four hours in each segment. I've enjoyed this game doing that and I haven't gotten bored of it. The only problem is the occasional freezes that occur with the character when I'm running on foot or galloping fast on horseback, the characters would stop moving but the camera could still move around.

I've enjoyed the game so far. Blew my last assassination attempt by attempting to get to my target too early and I had to endure a long sword fight with my target and several soldiers.

You mean you can assassinate your target without having to duel him + 20 other soldiers?

I have never killed the target without having to fight him with a sword first. I must suck.

The third dude, the guy in Jerusalem you didn't have a choice, but the second time you go to Acre, I think I should've waited instead of breaking out of the scholar blend before attempting to kill my target. It was crazy since there was practically hundreds of soldiers there. The first two I got them clean without anyone noticing until the deed was done, the fourth dude (fat dude), kept knocking over the soldiers, making it easy for me to assassinate him.

EDIT: the targets' names weren't given up in the spoiler, just places. I put the spoiler just for those who haven't played, but if you have played you'd know the assassination targets I'm talking about.

I think you can do them all, but there is tricks to doing them. I didnt even know you could until i checked out the achievements. I ended up assassinating one to unlock it.

Yes, and that's actually the most fun part of the game, IMO. Figuring it out.

I've done one "true" assassination so far and it was very satisfying. The rest have ended up being sword fights.

I have to work on my stealth. lol.

Haha, it might not be the "right" way to play the game, but I like taking on all the guards before finally getting my showdown with the assassination target

Thanks Pared, I can't wait but I think I'm going to do what Eights has been doing and just taking my time with this one.
