Now that review says the PS3 version has the better framerate... maybe I'll go PS3 for this one...

I wouldn't take "slighty" being that much better, he also said the 360 version has better lighting, and he also said it's a wash between the two.

I'll pick this one up later then. I've got CoD4, Mario on the way, have to pay for an XBL subscription soon, plus extended warranty, and I have skate, Fight Night 3, and Viva Pinata in the mail as well. Too many games, but I still want to climb buildings like a mad man.

Probably pick this up early next year, theres a little couple month drought to start off 2008. I don't even have enough for Mass Effect as it is, so AC can definitely wait. I'll put it with games like Dead Rising & Conan that i'd like to pick up sometime (i.e. before a sequel)

Fellows after picking this up tonight after work and now reading what is being said, I wonder should I open this thing up or wait until some O'sers play. Thank goodness I have Mass Effect to sooth my possible disappointment of this game. Peace!!!!

With you just getting a 360, you've got a lot of good games that you've missed out on as well.

I know. I want to pick up Gears of Wars for cheap just to play through co-op, but I don't need to pick up much more than what I have coming until GTA4 comes out.

The overall fighting system in this game just looks bad. I mean, how realistic is it for your guy to stand in the middle of a circle of 12 guards and just cut them down one by one? They just stand there while you fight one of their friends, and wait to get their throats slashed. Not to mention it looks like there are about 5 fighting animations total.

From the videos I've seen, the game looks great; I really like what they did in creating the environments and the characters. But that's just not enough to make me consider buying this game. The good graphics just aren't capable of making up for the weak fighting system, the lack of true stealth action, the lame "twist" and the repetive parts of the game.

Did you really think it would be getting these scores? I mean 7's ain't bad, but I think everyone thought it was going to get higher scores.

At some point I thought this game was going to get high review scores but than I started back off and figured somewhere in the range of 7s to the mid 8s. Kind of got an Advent Rising feel about the game.

Weird how (Well at least in my opinion) Gamespot has the toughest reviews and IGN not so much, have switched roles on this game. Might be one of those games that either really appeals to a certain person while another person is jusdt not into it. Unlike CoD4 where basically one is all about it.

ITs getting from what 7.0 to 10? When something like that happens i think it suits some peoples style and to some others it may just be awkward because i dont think there has been a game quite like this. I am just glad its not ANOTHER FPS. FPS games are getting old.

Pretty much in agreeance with you. I caved in and opened it & I must say from the short time with it I am impressed. My son & I played the introductory part of the game and it is pretty sweet. Movement, Graphics, overall presentation of the game is very different from anything I have ever played.
Just have to figure out how to find time to play all these games. Currently playing Mass Effect, Nba2K8, TW08, Call of Duty 4, Halo3, and just started playing Bioshock and now Assasins Creed. Peace Life sure is GOOD!!!!!!!!
