I have found that a very good way to really enjoy Assassin's Creed is to make sure it is not the only game you have to play. I was mesmerized with it when it began, the gorgeous graphics, animation, play mechanics, everything was simply amazing. Once some of the magic wore off and I bagan noticing its flaws (the repetition mostly), I would play something else for a while (Uncharted fit this spot perfectly). Then when I would go back to AC after a break, it was amazing again.

I still have to go back to it to beat it. One of my "breaks" (Mass Effect) ended taking up more of my time than I anticipated, and my breaks from that game ended up being Rock Band and CoD4 instead of going back to AC.

But this extra long break in then end I think will be even more beneficial to my Assassin's Creed experience (as crazy as that sounds), because I have not played it now in weeks and I am really looking forward to continuing where I left off.

Yeah, they are sometimes difficult to find with the huge map from the strategy guide.

I'm hoping that they do release some kind of patch, that would be cool.

That about sums it up. Very repetitive, making it a decent game, but sure as hell not great.

Well, my opinions of the game will be delayed, because the copy that I rented was too damaged to read.

That happens about 1 out of every 3 games I rent at that damn place.

Yeah, I traded it in earlier for another copy of Assassin's Creed, and I've been able to play it for a few hours. The story already has me intrigued.

Anyways, the game has been good thus far, and I can tell that it will begin to get repetitious. The graphics and sound are great, but the controls could have been touched up a bit, as well as the camera. The guards also seem a bit too sensitive.

So far, I'd rate the game between an 8.0-8.5. I don't think it's the best of the best as far as 360 games go, but it's still good fun. It's a unique experience and the sort of game the 360 was desperately needing.

I agree, the AI guard logic at times isn't right. I could be walking/slow running and get a lot of attention. Or I could be climbing a wall next to a secure area with a bunch of guards looking up asking, "what can cause him to do that?"

That is messed up and so is the fighting mechanics, many times I tried to dodge attacks or counter which resulted in me getting stuck in motion. I hope they fix it.

I beat the game today, I'm rather confused with the ending of the game now. I'm just standing in that facility with nothing to do unless I'm missing something. I thought someone said you can go back to the cities?

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

Just finished it today. I loved the game, but I was confused about the ending. Then I saw a link in this topic that explained the ending which helped out a lot, but I have a question about Desmond's last memory
