Where do you find the beer and weed?

At the liquor store.

Once you buy beer/food/weed he doesn't eat it immediately like in GTA...it goes into his inventory. Press B to access it, and D-pad to choose what you want to eat or drink (or smoke)

I was in the middle of the final battle trying to access my weapons and found the blunt I had bought. I didn't know I still had it, so I was like "cool, right on time." I fired it up, and they actually show him smoke it. Then everything slows down a bit like a subtle bullet-time effect and the screen gets blurry. After that, I was ready to kill me some mofos...

"Say 'ello to my lil friend beyotches!!!!!"

Another thing I really like are the explosions, and like tater said, I like the distortion of hearing loud music from outside of a car. The muffled bumps really add to the atmosphere.

What does the demo consist of? Are there a few missions to do in a certain area of the game?

You start out creating your character, all be it very limited. Just for the demo, but limited. Then you are able to join the Saints Row gang, and complete a few missions. Or you can do as you please. The area is blocked off, but big enough to have a little fun with the police with a good chase around the city.

How many stars have you guys got from the cops. I tried killing a whole bunch to see if the swat team would show up but i could not get more than 2 stars i believe.

I think I had every cop in the demo chasing me at one time, didn't see any stars though. Too busy trying to get away. Never saw any swat, or helicopters in the demo though.

Walking along...heard a ruckus behind me.

A Roller had "rolled up" on me in the black Civic and starts shooting.

Pulled my pipe out ready to shoot, but two of my homies happened to be in the vicinity, and start capping at the Roller.

A beat cop joins in, full shootout develops.

Traffic starts going haywire trying to get away, cars are crashing...people are pedestrians going nuts also. One poor lady sat right down in the middle of the gunfight and goes fetal. She's literally rocking back and forth like she's just lost it.

One lady driver is so desperate to get the hell outta dodge, she pulls up on the sidewalk, and almost strikes a black woman pedestrian but gets stuck between cars. The woman she almost hit is pissed..***ns over to car and pulls the chick out. The driver gets up and starts running away while the black woman chases her off screen.

All this happening while I'm just standing there, gun in hand.

This game is sick. Past all the improvements and the fact that this is a blatant ripoff, this game really gives you that feeling you got the first time you played GTA III. You feel like you are in a real world that doesn't really care about what YOU do. Just amazing.

Yep, GTA may have to really knock one out of the park next year to top this. I can't imagine what online is going to be like.

Over here we have a 360 VIP club through EB which sends us discounts and bonuses every month. It says if we pre-order Saints Row in August we get the demo disk, making of etc for free. Can't wait to try this bad boy out!

It is also available at Toys R Us. You get it free if you preorder or you can buy it for $10. The demo is great, however I don't care for the driving a whole lot. I just wish the cars handled a little bit loosely, but I am still pretty excited about the game. I posted an article last week about the online portion of the game. It sounds like it could be pretty sweet.
