Yea. That really confuses me... especially when its giving that message and I can see another squad member right in front of me.

apparently there are 4 men per squad because after the game it has the stats for my squad. Just don't understand the point of the squad.

I think it's to encourage people to work as a team without having 10 different people on a side try to work together, which works rarely in any multiplayer shooter.

yeah, I have no idea who my squad members are. Is there some way to tell on the map?

p.s. anyone know how to control the missile you call in with the sniper (you use the binoculars).

squad members are in TEAL (light blue) compared to the normal blue

these are also the only people that you can communicate with

also since your squad members can spawn where you are while alive, it's basically telling you to stay alive if you have an advanced position because your squad mates can then spawn at your position (like right at a crate that is armed) to help you rather than having them spawn back at the base and hoof it all the way to the location.

the only thing that sucks is spawning at a squad mate who is a camping sniper posted a mile from the friggin battlefield so I have to sometimes walk even further than had I just spawned at the base.

Thanks, that explains some of the weird re-spawns I have had at times. One time I re-spawned in a helicopter that was on its way down. Also explains why I have to re spawn at the base sometimes.

The right stick controls the missile.

it's actually an ingenious solution to spawn camping IMO. All it takes is one guy to get out of the base and the whole squad has a safe respawn point. although if you're not paying attention to the action on your squad mate when you re-spawn you sometimes spawn right in the middle of a fire fight where you and your mate get creamed.

In fact if working together with voice a smart squad would find a safe advanced spot and wait for his entire squad to form with them before attacking.

of course you need people willing to communicate and work together.

It is best to assess their position and the risk before re-spawning to squad.

Wait a minute, so what's the difference between an in-game squad you find yourself in, and a squad you invite your friends to? (If there is any, or they're the same thing)

I'm pretty sure its the same thing except you're in a squad with your friends rather than randoms.
