Waltzed in to EB Games at 10:15am. 2 people in front of me. Pre-ordered. Out of curiosity, I did a Foxtrot over to the Gamestop across the way and pre-ordered one there as well. I was like 5th out of 16 at each store.

Plus I love comparing my console seeking to ballroom dancing. BTW, I'm in S. Florida

Went to gamestop at 10am and was #4/8. Then headed over to EB and was #7/16. So I should have on Nov. 17.

I was 12 out of 14 at my Gamestop when I showed up at 9:50am. Here is the thing guys:
" Only 1 Reservation Per Househould " - The manager told me once they complete all the preorders and if someone reserved twice from the same household then the reservation will be deleted all together. I asked him twice and he said he's 100% sure. So guys please call and make sure your preorders are still good. Remember only one preorder per household.

Allright boys flame away. I preordered mine and i'm guaranteed one on launch day since the manager is a friend of mine. In fact he called last night to break the news they were taking preorders.

I didn't feel like waiting in line so I stopped by before the store closed last night. I gave him an envelope with $100 and my name, rank serial number and he said he would preorder my system as soon as he opened the door.

LOL I was headed to the store and he calls asking Core or Premium, I asked if I could think about it before I got to the store. He said I got a line outside the store so think quick. I said alright premium.

I get to the store he handed my envelope back with my preorder receipt and i'm first on the list.

Now the question is what do you guys think the Premium systems might go for on ebay and when is the best time to sell?

it'll go for over $1000.00 easy... put it on ebay november 18th

I'm a little nervous being the last on the list but a friend of mine works there (was off today-DAMN!) so tomorrow i'm gonna see if I can get bumped up a few notches

We shall see. Looks like i'll be back there tomorrow for the preorder of the Wii.

I'm actually looking forward to the Wii more than the PS3. As a matter of fact, I don't really care for ANY of the launch titles coming out on the PS3.
I went ahead and pre paid RR7 and COD3.

Gonna be a fun November! I hope...

Well over a grand and create your auction the day before release. I did that for the 360 and made 1400 on one of them.

Are you guys talking about reserving PS3's or Wii's? I called my Gamestop about preordering a Wii and they said they aren't doing that.

Gamestop manager told me they should hear something from Nintendo in the next 48 hours about their preorder.

I was told while picking up my PS3 reservation that Friday appears to be the target date for Nintendo preorders but EB/GS District Managers have not yet publicly put out that date.

With the amount of Wii's that should be out there, you shouldn't have any problem finding one IMO.

Yep, there is not suppose to be an extreme shortage like with the PS3.

That's good. It's pretty much the only thing I want for Christmas, so I'm making my wife to go preorder one anyway
